Just wondering if anyone has ever tried to make their own wax/sealant at home?

Ive just been looking around online for possible ways to make it and it seems somewhat easy to make a carnauba wax.

    any thoughts?

I think I remember a member saying he made his own wax once, but that it smelled awful. lol. I haven't tried, nor do I know how, but it would be interesting to have some info on how to do it.

Interesting let us know if you do it. I personally much rather trust a manufacture than my self for LSP protection. Karl LOL at the ear wax!

bryansbestwax was working on his own wax and had a thread where he was updating us of his progress. It was quite interesting but I don't know what happened.

Not much, I ended up with decent wax, but only 6 weeks durability. It was one of those, gotta try this moments. I have a bunch of left over wax if you want to buy it. I even bought a decent small scale as well, it wasn't cheap but made it wasier to measure out things. I have a blogger accoun "homemade wax".
