Im looking into going PC with mezerna's but i dont get the pad combinations and the numerical numbers of the products. i would go adams as it seems to be made for simpler people, but the results of the mezerna's products ive seen are just amazing. if i could get a walkthrough of the the pad combinations and the usages of each mez product i would greatly appreciate it.
here you go 1 wash 2 clay 3 si1500 4 super finish 5 wax - glanz http://www.detailersdomain.com/The-Uber-FINE-Blue-Clay-Bar-Kit_p_345.html http://www.detailersdomain.com/Porter-Cable-7424XP-Swirl-Remover-Bundle_p_215.html
Phil - are you ever going to carry S500 (Fast Gloss - Compound for those not familiar)? I hear good things.
What do you all think about Hydro Seal over the glantz the next morning for added protection??? Phil I'm thinking about buying that PC kit VERY soon!!!
The S500 will not be sold in the US, due to VOC regulations. But you never know when Menzerna comes with a voc compliant compound...
I think we figured you got the needed info. I would say since we were on the topic it was worthless to start multiple new ones for the off-shoot discussions.
I would go with the following PowerGloss with a PFW or Uber Yellow, or Hydrotech Cyan if you have pretty bad swirls if you have moderate swirls Intensive polish with a Uber Orange or Yellow Uber or Hydrotech Cyan Powerfinish with a Uber Green or Hydrotech Tangerine 85RD with a Uber Blue or Hyrotech Crimson
• Menzerna Super Intensive Polish PO91E with a Lake County (LC) Orange pad, or a SurBuf® R Series or an LC Purple Foamed Wool pad • Menzerna Power Finish PO203S with a Lake County (LC) Orange or a Green pad • Menzerna Final Polish PO85RD with a (LC) White pad or use a (LC) Black or Gold pad for finessing • Lake County (LC) foam pads- 2 each - Purple Foamed Wool (PFW), Orange, Green, White and Black foam pads
