All Purpose Cleaner Recomendations?

+1 for the Zep product line. citrus 3:1 is great for most jobs. purple degreaser for tires.

 

I use Meg's APC...it works good and it's not too expensive. When you primarily detail minivans you don't want to be paying a ton for something you'll go through relatively quickly. I've also used MS Super Green Stuff and liked it, but had trouble finding it.

 

+1....4:1 for rims and tires

 

I just want to say that APC+ does foam up but the foam goes away aftter several seconds.

I use grime reaper, but only on exteriors.

 

Vote for Meg's APC+. Love that stuff. Although the fumes can get to you, so a mask might be a good idea to wear.

Meg's green apc, all of these I've used with good results diluted 3:1 or 4:1 on the exterior.

zep citrus and power clean. There are two things I don't like about power clean ... it really dries your hands and seems to dry up on the paint faster than zep citrus. It's stronger than Zep though.

 

Any problem of using Zep citrus undiluted on engines or paint?

 

PG 99 baby, but it isnt' available to you. Megs APC + or even Kleenol are great.

 

I dont like Zep, I use it for pad cleaner now, it was too hard to rinse off paint. I like OPC rinse very well and safe on paint, wheels(for washing with ONR)

 

+1 for Zep citrus at $9 a gallon you can't beat the price.

 

Hey guys i need a good APC. Any idea where can i buy locally here in Canada? Preferablly Meguiars APC or Zep as many people suggested.

What dilution should i use for door jams and wheel wells?

You can buy the whole Zep line at Home Depot in the cleaning section.

What you should consider from Zep is : Citrus, Cleaner & Degreaser (purple), APC and Premium Carpet cleaner.

To clean up door jams and stuff, APC or Citrus @ 3:1 / 4:1 should do the trick.

 

I use Chemical Guys Grime Reaper on light duty exterior and 1z Blitz for tougher stuff like engines and wheel wells.

 

Really? I have both but feel Grime Reaper to be stronger.
