    Hi,

Recently acquired a new vehicle so I thought about getting some detailing products. Bought various items from different vendors/stores last weekend to get me started. Most of the small stuff I stored in Sterlite containers to keep everything clean and not scattered around. All in all not a bad way to blow a thousand haha.

I totally saved your photos as inspiration for my garage! Nice start!

So... am I the only one who thinks most detailers have a slight OCD?

The suction power on it kind of sucks but it is definitely good enough for those quick 5-10min in and out jobs. And for a $30 price tag you cant go wrong.

Thanx guyts, I tired to keep the collection simple and clean with no OTC products and various different brands. Anything you guys recommend that I should add? I know I need a Clay Bar as I haven't purchased one yet (couldn't understand the difference between blue and yellow). I am planning on getting a Porter Cable 7424XP and a Menzerna Kit in Spring 2012.

Thanx guys, I tried to keep the collection clean with zero OTC products and not having many mix and match products on the rack. Anything you guys recommend that I should add? I am planning on getting a Porter Cable 7424XP and a Menzerna Kit if I have some extra money laying around come next spring since I only own two cars and for personal use.

I can view only the first page of this thread and clicking on the second page directs me back to the first page. Ultimately, I cant my posts or new posts in this thread which sucks. Any ideas why?

Not a huge autoglym guy but jealous of your organization! Though I do find it a bit weird you chose the look of your shelves over the right products for your car.

Nice collection, and sorry to burst your bubble but AutoGlym is an OTC product sold at a few places, none the less still good products especially the Custom Wheel Cleaner, got a 5l jug of that

Stoner's products are also OTC btw. I don't understand the stigma some people have toward OTC products. If they work well for their purpose what's wrong with using them? Just because a product is boutique and available strictly through detailing resellers doesn't mean it is top notch.
