Apart from that (sorry) awkward application routine, Hydro Seal looks the most appealing then. Still, I might not hold myself from buying them all. I wish their bottles were not that cute :)

Not to direct you away from Phil and DD, but we have retailers in Europe. It might be more cost-effective to order from Germany or the UK.

BTW-A good friend of mine just got back from a trip to Turkey. He and his family absolutely loved it.

Glad to hear they liked here. I'm on my holiday too. South parts are burning like hell at 42 deg celsius but it's 33 now at northern Eagean and there is a lovely weather.

Indeed, I prefer UK sellers mostly due to better shipping and tax free (and I mean a 20% tax) sale. I found very good prices here and can't resist them. Already had Amigo, Swirl and Hydro, and will get BG, Epic, Slick and Hydro Seal for the next order.

Hydro Seal applied over clean paint on 2010 Ford Fusion, Tuxedo Black Metallic.

The application has been on for a few weeks and car last washed 5 days prior to this picture.

Even though the car is dark black, all you see on the hood is a blue sky.

I like the clarity of Hydro Seal.

    Applicaiton:

I spritzed with Hydro and applied Hydro Seal according to directions. Easy, effortless shine.

Hi nick@prima, I´ve used HS and I have a couple of doubt too about it:

I know you said us "we can apply two layers of HS without cure time" ok, but we know solvent as the solvent dissolves. Right (solvent dissolves solvent)?

    1. The second layer of HS will not dissolves the first layer?
    2. two layers of HS are more effective as protection? or look?

    1. The impact will be negligible. The concentration of solvent is very light. It is simply an emulsifier. Additionally, as you dilute it with water as you work, the solvent becomes a non-issue.
    2. Just like any synthetic, it will only layer "so" thick. More coats won't double your protection, but adding layers does seem to add some richness. The second and subsequent coats serve to ensure a level and consistent layer of protection. So, in that sense, you will add durability because you are eliminating weak (thin) spots in the application.

My Fusion has been prepped for winter with Amigo and Epic. I plan on a few layers of HS before the snow falls in December.
