Well, I'm just waiting for the footage to get to Youtube! I'm not sure if these cars were even owned by them or rentals. I know one of the Lamborghinis was actually registered to an 18 year old... Now how does that happen o_O

$196 is unfair to those who want to see them suffer, but realistically there's no hard evidence of them racing or speeding. Just weaving through traffic at this moment. I doubt witnesses will get it any further. They got lucky.

Some nice cars but... why no Porsches?

Good on them for having cars like that at a young age.

"So we've asked our team to be looking at the possibility of criminal charges and ... if we have enough evidence to lay a charge of dangerous driving. We're also going to be looking at seizing the vehicles for good," Gaumont said.

this statement cracked me up. they need a TEAM to look into the POSSIBILITY of criminal charges and/or dangerous driving?

just a $196 dollar fine.....oh and they think they're going to permanently seize the vehicles.

lock the damn kids up for the weekend, suspend their licenses for 6 months to a year, and fine the shit out of them. a 196 dollar fine to an 18yr old kid driving a lambo is a joke.

A person that I know from high school got a ticket for doing 170 in a 100 zone. Although I don't know if he was doing that, he claimed he was at 140 and the cop was making accusations. His court date was a few weeks ago and I'm interested to hear that especially because there was no radar gun involved. He was 60km from home, vehicle impounded, and a fine of $5000+$4000(impound fee) and liscence taken away and he had to find his way back home.

Too many ballers in BC now...

Luke you remember that Mazda meet, well I was cruising from Kennedy Commons, and one of the people that was suppose to meet us there permanently lost his license because he was 40 over, it was his 2nd time. And they towed his car, and a 5K fine.

Also I want to have a rich friend that will allow me to drive his cars anytime!

Well how many kids you know drive Range Rovers, they go for 100K...my grandfathers friend just bought his grandson (18) a Range Rover for getting into university. They also have a murcielago in Dubai but that isn't registered to him, but he is always driving it.

Welcome to Vancouver my friends, where 1/4 of the machines that cost >$100,000 on the road are driven by kids under 21.

We have a graduated licensing program where in your first year of your license you can't drive alone and have to always have a red L sign hanging on the ass of the car.
Then 2nd and 3rd year you can drive along + one extra friend and have a green N sign hanging on the ass of the car.

Most of these Lambos, Masaratis and Porsches on the road have N signs on them. Half of those 13 cars towed have N signs on them. its causing quite a bit of a stir in the car enthusiast community, but the funny thing most of these cars aren't even part of the community.

They won't get locked up for speeding, but the police/politicians here are done with the speeding and deaths resulting from it every year. Had a BMW lose control on a bridge in downtown Vancouver a few years ago. Was going so fast it tore the car completely in half when it hit the lamp standard. These ass clowns will learn when the supercar daddy bought them is confiscated and sold at auction.

Vancouver has a high influx of immigrants from China whom come with lots n lots of cash in suitcases. A lot of the money are corruption money as well. In order to hide it, they turn it into assets. They also dont know what to do with the money so they buy their kids exotics and buy up all our houses/flats. The immigration process in recent years require at least 300-400k "gift" to the canadian govt i think.
Also the Yuan is very powerful allowing them to get a lot more CAD unlike the HKD which is pegged with USD which goes down with it.
The current immigrants are way baller than the immigrants from the 90s (and we were fairly baller then already)
they put baller-ness up another level
So yeah, just in Richmond, there was at least 4 R8 V10s with N signs...
China is very shady believe it or not. Hong Kong govt is looking into blocking all China buyers from buying flats here cuz they're kicking all of us out of our homes.

Same here Aldric. While the rest of the lower mainland is seeing a decrease in residential real estate values, West Vancouver ( very expensive area ) is expecting an 18-20% increase in the next 12 months. Guess where all the money is coming from? LOL

Sounds like you guys are jelous...corruption money, even if so, they invest, and people with DEEP POCKETS are the ones who will pay for expensive detailing services...you don't expect an owner of '92 toyota camry to pay $50+ an hour to have his car detailed, do you? Someone who owns a Lambo has the money to afford these types of services...
Hate is not a solution, in this case its promotion of socialism. If they are rich, you can't just take it away from them and "spread that wealth around"...that's socialism. I bet if they were DINDONGS driving a $200 POS with $5000 rims, nobody would be making such a big deal out of it...One conclusion I made for myself is socialistic healthcare turns more into socialism. And we defetetely need to make sure the antichrist doesn't make to a second term...
Ken, think about it, if those cars were racing/speeding, they most likely have tar and other contaminents on them...you should think how to sell them your services, not auction their cars off...We have to accept there will ALWAYS BE those who didn't do much in life yet will be VERY RICH. That's just the way life is...Notice that majority of millionaires barely finished high school, yet socialists tell people about education, teaching people homo and monkeynism...
End of rant, I think I need a beer now...
Bottom line, those kids should be responsible for their actions, by all Canadian laws...But not with additional hate just because they are rich...
PS, I'm working with my grand father to put up a song about "spreading that wealth around" on youtube. Stay tuned...

WTF are you talking about Sergei? How did you get hate and jealousy out of what I said? They made the news because they were driving in town at nearly 4x the speed limit in some areas regardless of what they were driving. The fact that they are rich doesn't change the fact that they were acting like assholes regardless of their race, wealth or age. We have a real problem in our area with young drivers killing people because of dangerous driving like this so don't you dare sit there and go on about socialism and such. It has nothing to do with it. If you are driving that fast, within city limits, the cops should drag you out of your car and go Rodney King on your ass.
