Use this with a porter cable XP, its fantastic. While learning the product owner helped me out quite a bit which made me a solid fan of Prima.

I just ordered swirl and finish. I'll use M105 as my compound.

I say no to prima finish. because it left mirco marring on my brilliant black A4 with a black DD uber pad. So I say Menz 85rd is better for all paint because it doesn't leave anything but a glossy finish on my paint. Its my opinion.

Rotary or DA? What pad did you use?

    A black über pad.

mirco marring is only left by DAs. I could be wrong tho...but I used a Groits garage DA

Hm that's odd you got micro marring from such a conservative polish. I have been using it with a rotary for a long awhile so I can't remember what it was like with a DA. I might have to try it with a DA soon to see if I get the same thing.

Could also of been the type of paint you used it on. I've never heard of Finish leaving behind micro marring. Maybe the pad was over saturated? If you do ever get marring though a quick fix is Amigo with a black pad. Will easily get rid of that marring fast.

I second this. I am betting Audi has soft paint like BMW and I had the same issue using my Porter XP, Uber Orange pad, and Prima Swirl. The paint is too soft for that combo. Your Audi may be too soft for that pad/compound combo. Black is a way soft pad and may not work with finish right. Try Uber Green and Finish that may be a better match up. Make sure you do not use any pad conditioner either. Prima is water based and you will only brake down the formula before it is ready to polish.

Never heard a soft Audi. Sure about that?

Nope, not sure, that was the reason for inserting that cryptic "I am betting" part. So I went to go the google machine and found this:
Ask-A-Pro: VW / Audi Paint Hardness – Detailed Image

Looks like they have hard paint so my suggestion, if researched, does not pan out possibly.

It is super-unlikely, bordering on impossible, for Prima Finish to leave marring on an Audi. Prima Finish is very light. I suspect what happened is Finish buffed to a high luster which allowed you to see further into the paint which in turn revealed the micro-marring. I've had the Audi club in several times and I've owned an Audi. Prima Swirl and an LC orange pad will barely make a dent in Audi clear.

The only vehicle type Prima Finish has even the remotest possibility of micro-marring is a black BMW.

Honestly, I think you need to get more aggressive to get down to the marring, then bring it back up.

I guess power finish did a good job with the yellow pad without leaving too much marring behind despite not being able to get it out after 3 tries but then it is a one step polish.

Nice video. What sw did you use to do the neat transitions?
