Detailer's Domain: BMW M3 New Car Prep

    Here is a brand new BMW M3 Comp Package.

    Customer requested to get the car perfect and install clear film.

    What was done -
    Exterior

    - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
    - Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
    - Wheel wells were cleaned up
    - Pre Washed with W99
    - Wash down and rinsed
    - Door jambs were cleaned up
    - Clayed
    - Dried
    - Tires dressed
    - Masking
    - Paint Measurement
    - 2 Step - SIP to start and Super Finish
    - Inspection with Fenix,Infratech, and natural sunlight
    - Last Step – 1Z einszett Glanz
    - Wheel wells were cleaned and dressed
    - Rubber and Plastics Treated
    - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
    - Exhaust tips cleaned
    - Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed

    Interior

    Looks great Phil! Do the speakers come like that in the front doors from the factory? If so that's awesome.

    Amazing work! I can't believe a brand new car would leave the lot looking like that!

    I wish there was a detailer as good as you in my area :-(

    Excellent as always.

    One quesiton....I was under the assumption that there should be no LSP applied before vinyl or protective wraps are installed (as it apparently improves the adhesion of the material).

    car looks awesome phil, the way it should look from the factory.. I think the 4 doors are almost, if not better looking than the coupes.

    the glanz was after the clear film....lol... the full hood, fender, bumper was wrapped I put the glanz on the film.

    This was a "new" M3? Was it delivered that way from the dealer? If so, time to find a new dealer. If the clear film was 3M Ventureshield, the only wax officially approved for it is 3M Performance Finish. Some waxes can yellow the film over time. 3M PF is a silicone-based wax, which I avoid for paint, but it remains the only approved wax for Ventureshield.

    P.S. The speakers in this car are part of the upgraded audio package available from BMW as an option.

    it was venture it will be the only thing that will cover the complete hood.
