As the title states I have worked on the car before, it was previously owned by my buddy and former shop foreman who worked with me @ Performance Art. He traded in the car last year to a mercedes dealership to get his daughter a C-300 and the new owners tried a "Car wash" to get the detail done and the results were not what they were looking for, Kevin(Former owner) gave the new owners my name and the appointment was set. They wanted to get the car cleaned properly as this car was also at Pixar's annual car show and the owners wife works there and wanted it nice. The vehicle was in "Show condition" when it was traded in but had picked up clay marring and more "Helen Keller" wax application in the trim and molding. After a thorough wash/decon /LSP strip the car was pulled into the shop to begin the corrective steps. Front bumper marring. After initial compound step. As stated "Clay marring" but not horrible.......compounding was needed though. First 50/50 pic. Left side of the trunk corrected. Right half corrected. More clay marring. After. Tailights were not looking so good either. Much better. Before. After. Before. After. Before. After. More scuffs.
Corrected. Wheels were marred as well. After medium polishing step. Fine polish step completed. On the home stretch........................................ Dusty heat shield. "Cleaness". "Tightness certified" sun pics.
The customer told me this morning that he went to another show after the "Pixar" event a different Mustang shine & show and recieved first place in class, which is great!! when Kevin Patten the previous owner owned the car he recived first place in class in the same event and others.......good stuff.
Bob you should check out the settings on your camera, I think your white balance is causing the blue tint in outdoor pictures. Nonetheless amazing work as usual.
Yes you are correct, and I was also told this by Todd Helme. Have been playing with the "Automatic white balance" and manual settings on my camera and should see improvement on new write ups posted(I have a Canon Power Shot SX130 IS) which is not a DSLR but a real nice medium priced camera which takes some very nice pics.
Thank you everyone for the comments, the new owners of the car are very nice people who are passionate about keeping the car as nice as possible in the future.

i am curious what product did you use to fine polish the wheels? and also which products to clean up the hood liner? Thanks and top notch work!
