Have you guys considered selling the contents of the Gummi Pfledge stick as a seperate liquid in 8 or 16oz sizes? Im not a big fan of the applicator on the stick and have been contemplating cutting it open and putting the liquid in a small sprayer.

The applicator tip is removable for cleaning. You don't need to cut it.

My applicator tip only lasted a couple of uses. I gently washed it between uses but the soap/water rinse I gave it appeared to have loosened the sponge from the plastic base. I now just remove the plastic top and use a separate sponge for application and it works well and no longer have the gravity feed issue when using on the seals under the doors.

We haven't had a whole lot of demand for a larger size. A large majority prefer the smaller bottle especially dealerships who use it in the service area. They like the convenience of the sponge applicator and the small size of the bottle that's easy to hold. The sprayer and a separate applicator would add that much more time to the process.

Yes, the sponge applicator can be popped off. It's on fairly tight so be careful when pulling it off so the liquid doesn't spill out.

It's also a good idea to clean all your weather stripping first with a damp cloth to remove dirt/grime. Too much dirt on the sponge can shorten its life. And a good idea to clean it after each use.

Not sure why it only lasted two applications... :(
