Hi DB Im planing to get a I pad for advertisement for details. The word of the mouth won't bring enough business for my needs to keep my business running. I like to have a I pad and go door to door to show customers my work and hand them my business card. To me that brings me closer to my customers vs flyers + most of the time people don't bother with flyers. the upfront cost is higher vs flyers, but its a more professional look IMO. Im new to Apple products, I just got a Mac Pro. so I have this question..... how can you import photos/videos from your camera to Ipad? since theres no USB
load images to iphoto then import to ipad from there load video/re-encode to ipad compatible format with something like handbrake then import to itunes then import to ipad from there you can also load things up to a website and open your website if you have 3G and such
You can get pics to it many ways, dropbox, thru itunes, webpage, email, or iphoto. Video, you can convert to a ipad friendly version or get an app that can play almost any format of video. You should also sync your calender to it so you can schedule detail right then and there.
Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit - Apple Store (U.S.) you can use this, its a ipad camera connection kit that allows you to download the pictures directly, or you can go with the regular method of download to iphoto then sync to the ipad. I use the connection kit with pretty good success.
My buddy does this for his pool construction company, its clean, professional and high res... he is using a galaxy tab though.
You can transfer the pics to dropbox then save them easily to your iPad. That is how I transfer most of my documents to my ipad, fast and easy. True to accesses dropbox you need internet but easy way to get photos, video, docs to the ipad. Can always make a powerpoint presentation or PDF and view that.
load it through itunes just like you would with itouch. link folder to upload and it should do the rest. good idea with ipad, are you going to every door or just selected.
