Ok, so if get Aquartz Nano Coating, what will I do with all the sealants and waxes I have sitting on my shelves? Or can I still use them on top of Aquartz?

I applied it, and found some marring, but I have enough Cquartz to apply to the area, im thinking down the road.

Well I am confused LOL I thought Cquartz replaced Aquartz.

 

Are all these coatings essentially the same meaning they could be topped with more coatings and waxes or sealants?

So far I have read that the Opti-bond is the only coating that CANT be topped. Is this true?

 

I'm not sure about that one I would probably just redo it.

 

Dr. G from Optimum says that for Opti-Coat - it can be topped with waxes and sealants but will suffer dramatically less durability. Basically the coating onced cured does not let anything bond to it not even itself if you try to add another coat of Opti-coat. But it is ok if you want to top. Downside from that is the dirt and water repellancy is temporarily masked by the topper.

I believe Cquartz can be layered initially, and recommended only to top with Carnauba if you must.

Hmm judging by the application video this may not suit ultra soft paint? I've had difficult times applying CQ to soft paint without marring the crap out of it already.
