This is my third GTR I have had the pleasure of working with. This one needed some TLC to bring back the shine as it had fallen victim to a bad case of the swirlies. For such hard paint (as stated by the little sticker under the hood) it mars and swirls so easily. Paint reading were good, 120 microns on average. I think he has a polarizer filter on his lense! I get the same thing with my D300S when I take pics. Very nice job on that GTR! Pretty ironic they say that it's a hard clear but mars.

nice one yeh the super hard clear coat sticker under the hood is very weird, this is the softest paint ive ever seen - which does make correcting easy as long as you dont let the heat build up too much
ya, the paint is stupid soft, I guess if they thought if the added the sticker, you might just believe it
