I just got my last grade finally and I am definitely allowed to graduate unless they do anything thats out of expectations. Now I just gotta check up on my employer on any updates then gotta lay out my plans, with possibility at relocating back to Hong Kong or down to the States for work instead of staying in Canada. Dont know yet, still gotta do my planning. But yes, I am psychologically and mentally burned out from school so I wont be going back for quite a while.
Congratulations on your accomplishment!!! I feel your pain about getting burnt out after going through hell in school... But it should be better from here on out. You'll be making money and will be able to buy a house, a car and all the detailing supplies you will ever want.
Congrats Aldric! :thumb: Why would you need to relocate for work? Isn't your field of work one that can provide a job anywhere?
thanks guys! I can provide job anywhere yes and thats essentially one of the reasons why I can reallocate easily. The cost of living in Hong Kong for me is lower than in Canada because my family have a flat here whereas I am renting here at the moment. But then again the job market in HK is relatively low pay in comparison so I will have to work things out. Rent itself here is 2000/mth, even if I earn 3000/mth its not that great really. In HK pay may be around 1000~1500 /mth but I dont need to pay rent and income tax is lower so yeah, I gotta plan it out.
Your in BC, where the most expensive real estate is come to T.Dot get a house at Jane & Finch, you can get a 0 down mortgage for less then $1000, also I'll be able to leach detailing stuff off you Also congratulations
That's not bad then..Hm..buy a townhouse and rent out for $2000 sounds better than renting out an apartment.
lololololol TO, so far! yeah my previous place was an apartment with 2br at 1800/mth atleast I have my own garage, majority for 2000 do not have garages
That can't be your portion though?! Damn I thought rent was expensive here in Edmonton. As for the mortgage bit, approval rules just got a lot tougher here in Canada, so unless there are two people on the mortgage you are pretty much screwed. Or is you are making a complete assload of money - which i'm sure Aldric will at some point, but probably not now with all those student loans (sorry to be a party pooper, that's my job - i'm a banker)
im not plagued with student loans thankfully =p so yeah no interest to pay back so all my income is direct contribution to the family
tyty, i've had so much doubts about my degree since i started it but im glad its now over. on no.4 rd
