Is driving me NUTS. I spent about 6 hours on my car yesterday to find that after parking it for 10 minutes at the store yesterday i have an inch of yellow pollen all over the car.

    I hate it.:rollingpin:

Pollen is REALLY abrasive (look for microscopic photos - the grains look like Medieval weapons of some kind). NEVER wipe pollen from your paint - flush with plenty of water, use Optimum No Rinse to help suspend the particles. It drives me nuts too, but a quick rinse usually does most of the work. The cleaner your car is to start, the easier the pollen will rinse off.

I think that just after to apply the LSP the magnetic attraction is at its highest - static charge, etc.

A good practice to do to help reduce dust and pollen is after applying your lsp wipe down with prima slick or 425 prior to exposing your ride to the elements

I NEVER touch my car's surface unless water is involved. (I have never used ONR...nothing against it, just dont sure how to use properly so I avoid) My cars paint stays in excellent shape and is washed weekly. The surface is very clean, and I appply SV Blau Weiss often. I enjoy waxing.

Its just the time of year. I understand that, its just a pisser.

My M3 is Imola Red, so I can really see the pollen build up.
