Anyone else tired of this rain?

I dunno about everyone else, but we've had rain for almost a week straight here in Kentucky. And not just light rain, but heavy rain and storms as well. The Ohio is at flood stage, roads are closed, we've even had an outbreak of tornadoes in the area. I am so sick of it :p I haven't been able to wash my car for almost three weeks...and our basement started leaking. But I think the worst is my high school. It's over 20 years old and apparently mold is a problem there. So much so that I come home from school every day feeling sick. If anyone with allergies has spent any length of time in a moldy old building you know the feeling. Anyway, I just wanted to vent and see if anyone else here is sharing my pain...

Example...view from my desk right now...rain:

Desnt sound good for your school. Pretty sure you could do something about that.
I am in Illinois, and yes very sick of this rain, for the past few days it has been a few hours of rain followed by a few hours of wind, followed by more rain lol.
It sure is crazy. Also had some flooding around here and a few tornado warnings. But nothing like you mentioned in your post.

Im waiting for the forecast to change. I will be correcting my DD because I still havent had the chance to. I traded my S200 for a Black Altima SER that came from Minesota and it looks horendous.
I find my self smelling all the products.

I totally agree. I'm 45 min north of cincy and it seems like it has rained two weeks straight. I don't know how all the rivers around me aren't flooded.

I really want to wash my wifes car but its pointless at this time. Oh well, it will have to end soon.

Sorry you have had so much bad weather. I feel your pain, even more intensely here in Western Washington State.

We have had rain and or snow, since last year, almost every day, every night, pretty much all the time.
This is the first place I have ever lived in where mold will grow out of all kinds of places on a vehicle, if it is not washed and removed frequently.
If a vehicle stays outside for say, 1 year, it will be carrying and growing a very hard to remove mold species all over the roof, any small places like the rubber moldings that are next to the glass, and will have a full blown eco-system of little trees, fungus,,moldy things, growing very happily in the trunk jambs - especially the long area at the top of the trunk lid closest to the rear glass.
All the leaves, needles, etc, that fall onto vehicles fall into these jambs and even compost there, so you have the best possible growing media and conditions to face, every time you get a really neglected vehicle out here to detail.

I too, want to be able to see the sun for more than a few hours if that, over a period of months, and look for the day when I can wash a car outside and its not pouring down rain at the same time.

Lets all hope for better weather soon !!

It been raining in Toronto for 3 weeks also but on and off, rest assured Mother Nature does not want me to detail a car because it always happens when I'm free and weekends, it's also raining this weekend

It rained here in Edmonton for the first time this year for about 10 minutes :p

Ya that mold thing is a big issue! You should definitely speak with someone about that. Depending on the mold it can literally be deadly if not dealt with properly. My old junior high building was shut down and rebuilt due to a mold issue. We take that very seriously in Canada.

We have also had rain throughout the past week or so... rain every single day.

All the local rivers are flooded beyond belief, which is good in a way so I can get out soon and start the catfishing season! Fk yeah!

Oh wait I live in So Cal :p
I feel you though, I hate rain. Besides, people in So Cal forget how to drive when it rains, they either go way too slow or way too fast :shakehead:
