hi, this is a Honda Civic 3dr. 1996 with Diamond Graphite Metallic. In this thread I'm going to share how I detail my car. Since I'm a short person, I have to take several steps, day be day, and panel to panel. It might be a long process, but at least the job is done...

Part one, I notice my roof is soaking up water so it's time to work on my roof top. The results, I'm very satisfied from 1z Glanz Wax.

    Things used:

    Adam's Detail Spray
    Swissvax Paint Rubber
    EINSZETT(1Z) Glanz Wax
    Uber Red MF Towels
    Griots Applicator Pads

before waxing the Spoiler and rubber

    After rubber the spoiler

    Waxed the Spoiler

    roof before rubber
    [IMG]
    roof after rubber
    [IMG]
    roof waxed
    [IMG]
    amoter waxed shot

The water beads up from the rain due to protection from Glanz. This the results I want because it shows that it protects my paint value. btw it rain the day after I waxed the roof. Lucky huh? IPHONE SHOT

Hi guys, I know it's not a car or a big thing, but I just want to shop you guys how well I polished this 1996-98 civic tail lights I got in my back yard. These tail lights were sitting in the yard over a year, so I decide to see if I can recondition and make a few bucks. That's why I decide to polished them BY HAND.

Here are the tools and compound I used.
-Griots Mini 3 inches polish pads.
    -Uber red mf towels
-small bottle with soapy water in it
    -Swissvax Paint Rubber
    -Adam's Detail Spray
    -1z Extra
    -1z Paint Polish
    -1z Metallic Polish wax

I start cleaning the tail lights by spray a lot, a lot of soupy water with Adam's car wash mix with water.
Then wipe it down well with an Uber mf towel.
Start spray a well amount for lube from detail spray on the tail lights and rub it with a clay.
After claying, I wipe off the rest of lube and start smearing some compound on.
First I start hand polish with Griots 3 inches pad, applying Extra and start working all the way down to metallic polish wax.

    before.

Thank you guys. I appreciate your comments.

My brother parted out his type R and these tail lights were part of unwanted parts, and I took it. "Here you can have these ugly tail lights" he said. I asked him "why can't you sell it?" and he replied "this scratch up lense?" I brought it home, restored it, and eBayed it. The bidder won at 50 greens :) free shipping. I used that money and bought me more detail goods at detailersdomain.com hahahah

Yes... Weekly wheel fun-day. I'm looking for some wheel protection from dust, dirt and grime, any suggestion?

just wash my car last week and I decide to show you guy how I admire the result. When I clean wheel on my hatch after the car wash ,and the results are shocking cleaner then store bought wheel cleaner. Here check out how it works.

    I used:
    Greatest Boar Hair Wheel Brush
    Einzett Wheel Cleaner
Hose that mist out gentle water.

    Dirty wheel

    What I have did.
    1. I start spraying the wheel cleaner on the wheel to let the formula set for 30 seconds each rims so it will break down the dust, dirt grime.
    2. I handle the Boar Brush and brushed the wheel.
    3. Rinse the the rims with gentle mist of water, this way it doesn't splash all over me.
    4. I see some aggressive dust, dirt and grime that need more agitate attention, so I aggressively brushed that part.
    5. Once it's brush out, mist with water to rinse and my wheels been cleaned.

Tips: best results cleaning one rims per time, it can take up to 5minutes per rims to be cleaned well because this way, the Einzett can't dried up and have to start the spray all over.
Make sure rinse your brush before and after, preventing scratches on rims.

    Awesome lol!!
I would say go for Swissvax Autobahn or BF AMS.
By the way you should get those wheel weights put on the inside instead of out. That way you won't get rust..

They get rusted??? I never knew that. Is it possible to install the balance weights inside?
I were thinking of autobahn too. Thanks M3ride.

Just way safer to have the weights on the inside and yes it is possible. Having the weights put on the outside like that overtime will cause damage to your wheels.
