Since I got to use a gas powered one, I'll never go back to electric PW. I've went thru 3 PW so far, a cheap home depot one, a snap-on and a simoniz.

I've got a Karsher gas powered from costco, 2600PSI 2.3gal and it's perfect. It's not that loud actually and does a very good job with the proper white nozzle. Shooting foam with this is unbelievable.

Glad you found a stable unit that works well for you. Everyone has their preferences, I liked using our gas-powered pressure washer, but I hated lugging it around (we're mobile) and I always ended up turning it on/off when I was using it since it was loud. It went through gas way too fast too, but it wasn't that new of a unit.

I agree that you should just spend the money up front and buy a reliable unit, the AR610 was $489 and I have zero regrets because the unit is awesome!

I'm pretty sure you could. I returned mine, though it was defective (and the issue of not being compatible w/the foam cannon I bought). You have to choose one of the reasons for the return when you get the return label. You may not get your original shipping refunded however.

I bought the AR 383 back in December. It works well but I haven't found a fitting to use the Cam Spray Foam Cannon. The AR definately uses and odd fitting. I tried a universal kit from Home Depot and none worked. I think the only remedy is to replace the hose and trigger/wand to one that utilizes a quik connect setup. That is going to cost probably another $100. I should have spent $100 more on the actual pw and got one ready to run w/o having to make changes to it.

Check out the fittings below the foam lance and see if one of those is it.

Thats what I thought. I wish I would've done more research before I purchased it but I had a specific budget and definitely didnt want to spend $1000.

Take a picture of the fittings that are on your AR lances and post it then we can see which one it could be or you could give them a call which ever you prefer

the Home depot kit came w/ a Lavor, Bosch and a Kew/Alto fitting. Neither one fit. The AR nipple is narrow compared to the others. The only possible fit would be the Bosch if you grind down the shoulders/tabs so it can go further into the wand.

What was AR thinking when they designed that useless fitting?

None of the adapters from that PowerCare adapter set from HD will fit the AR383 - believe me, I tried.

That's why I returned the AR383 and got a Karcher, for which adapters - and cannons, etc. that will work with them - are readily available.

Its not the same man that is a 64 oz foam lance the one I have is a Mecline foam lance and its a 1000ml which is a 33.8 oz foam lance. I wouldn't want to be using a foam container that large its not necessary to use that much of a water/soap mixture to snowfoam a vehicle.
