This detail was a new car prep for a week-old Melbourne Red E92 M3 Competition Package. The owner picked the car up from the dealer and was not happy at all with all the swirl marks left from the "new car prep" at the dealer. The owner wanted to get the car looking like it should have the day he picked it up, and with a coat of Swissvax on the paint. This car required Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Strong on the hood and trunk, and got a single stage polish on the rest of the car with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Professional and a Swissvax FINE Pad. The car was then finished off with Swissvax Blau-Weiss. We did not do any work to the interior or engine bay. The car was dropped off around 8am and finished around 6pm. Products Used: -Swissvax Car Bath -Swissvax Paint Rubber (Green) -Swissvax Seal Feed -Swissvax Protecton -Swissvax Quick Finish -Swissvax Nano Express -Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Strong w/ Orange Swissvax pad -Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Professional w/ Swissvax Fine pad -FESTOOL Shinex RAP150 Rotary -Swissvax Blau-Weiss BMW Wax -Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular -Swissvax Autobahn (wheels) -rain-x -Sonax Full Effect -1Z Glass Cleaner -1Z Rubber Care (Tires) and some more... Now onto the before pictures... The owner had washed the car a few days before bringing it to me, so it was not so dirty to begin with... even a new car needs to be clayed! this shot is after doing 1/2 of the carbon fiber roof. And the finished pictures! remember, no work was done to the interior, but it was worthy of a picture... and new stickers for Swissvax Customers! That's all for that one, Thanks for looking! Dom
Agreed, just looking at that back end makes me so happy. Such a nice car, now with swissvax it's even hotter!
Looks amazing love the new M3's I also like the SV sticker...but doubt the morons that are at every dealership will even notice it when it goes in for service. I have seen several corrected vehicles that even had signs on them stating don't touch, wipe, or wash the paint at all. Yet they still managed to ruin the finish, including my own 2010 Mercedes ML 350.
This is my car that Dominic detailed. However, he is being modest and isn't really telling the whole story. I picked up the car last week and washed it for the first time Saturday. After washing off all of the dealer waxes and sealants, I was so pissed about the condition of my hood and trunk that I was contemplating returning the car. It looked that bad. My dealer offered to fix the issues after reviewing the photos I sent him but, if they couldn't get it right just washing the car, there is no way they would get it right trying to fix it. I showed Dominic my pictures and he convinced me it wasn't that bad and that he could fix it up in a day. All I can say now is that I am glad I trusted his judgement and that I can highly recommend his work to anyone. Here are some before and after pictures of my hood that really show Dominic's talents. Aside from finding a great local detailer, I learned a valuable lesson. NEVER let the dealer touch my paint again! Thanks Dominic.
