So I've been TRYING to do research on a pressure washer / foam lance. And yes, I've searched. From what I've found out, the AR pw no one has a foam lance attachment for it. And the Karcher pw you have to buy an adapter?

Can someone who knows what to get please link me to a pressure washer and a good foam lance that is compatible. I don't want to buy a foam lance that wont work with the pressure washer I want.

I'm looking to spend under $200 for the pressure washer itself.

    Any help please?!!

The Karcher is the only one I know of in that price range that will take a foam cannon. When you order your foam cannon, it will come with the appropriate adapter. :)

I would opt for Karcher and do the proper drain outs for storage every time :)

drain all the water out of the power washer before you store it. So practically running it till dry so no water stays in the motor/pump. I think most of the problems of breaking down is water staying the pump and the lines for long periods of time causing potential leakage into the motor itself as seals around motor spindles are not 100% water proof as with boat turbine shafts.
Just theory but I believe it helps :)

I've seen comparisons on the quality foam lances, I going to be picking up a good quality one from ag with the adapter. The powerwasher I need to be reliable but decently priced. I've seen good reviews on karchers even though some people hate them, walmart has a 30day refund policy if it breaks and ill be using it a lot this month so I guess we'll see!

I recently purchased the Karcher K 5.85 M and a PWM foam lance for it with the karcher attachment, it can be converted all you have to to is get the fitting for the maker of the pressure washer you get in the future. I have to say I am very pleased with it both my purchases. Here is my thread on it check out the last post you will see how it the foam lance looks and what I mean when I say they you can use it with another PW if you want to in the future.

recently bought a karcher pw at wal mart. wasnt impressed. went to the commercial place here and talked with the owner who sells high end and karcher comm. too. the downside of the wal mart one is that places like costco and wal mart demand a price point from the companies and they have to cut costs somewhere. ie lot more plastic parts and much cheaper hoses. if you do buy a wal mart one you need to treat it gently and keep it clean and serviced. a better buy for the home hobbiest not for big volume detailers. the comm pw i got is only 1300 psi but is built like a tank compared to the 169 one from wal mart. cost me 800 though so i need to bang out lots of jobs to pay for it.

I got mine from Lowes, I think its a Greenworks. I got the cheapest one. Works great, they have a more expensive one (still under $200).

So I went ahead and paid $190 for the Karcher 3.690 from walmart, used it once satuday and once monday. When I went to turn it off Monday after using it the on/off knob broke and now just spins freely. I'm taking it back tomorrow and buying a cam spray and foam lance from Phil this week.
