This chair is a classic, I think it's over 50 years old. It's not a cheap chair, but then again, if you want quality you'll pay for it. A nice couch will set you back between $5K and $10K as well...

 

my sofa was like 399, fake leather, made in china, folds down into a sofa bed

Nice chair but I think you'll need a table and lifestyle to match, both I don't have or want (except maybe a nice car)

I wanted to actually buy a bucket seat like office chair but couldnt find anything like that over here in the great white north. lots of it in China tho.

It is somewhat confy, but the high seat bolsters can become bothersome in an office setting sometimes depending on how you sit....friend in college had one.
