What do you guys think about Gloss-it Gloss Enhancer quick detailer is it really worth the price for the gallon and is there anyway I can get it for a little less or if there is a discount code if you become a member on their forum? I want to get a gallon of some of the best detail spray. I just coated my 2004 black Mustang Gt with Cquartz and will not be using any of my lsps anymore or investing in any, so I figure I can invest towards a good detail spray that will keep up the look and to use as a drying aid after weekly washes. I have the following quick detailers and am wondering if there is anything better as in ease of use and look wise? Here is what I have so far, I like to order in bulk so if its possible I would like to get it by the gallon.

1/2 gallon of CG Pro Detailer
1/2 gallon of Poorboys Spray & Wipe
1/4 gallon of Optimum Instant Detailer
1 1/2 gallons of Mothers Showtime
I also had a gallon of CG Sythetic detailer but I didnt like it as much as CG Pro Detailer.

The gloss it is nice. I like the meguires quick detailer just as much. It looks nice on my granite countertops and my stainless steel appliances.

But for my cars, You already have my personal favorite. My new favorite QD is the PoorBoys Spray and Wipe you got (the grape stuff). That is the best all around for me. it works on evertthing, plastic trim, chrome, Paint, windows everything. The only problem with it is it gets a little drippy out of the bottle cuz its so thick. No problem though because its got alot of protection in it. It also lubricates the clay very well. i use it as a waterless wash too. If I was lost on desert island I'd probably use it to wash myself too.
Seriously, You own what I think is the best QD already. I wouldn't spend the money on the Gloss-it.

I absolutely love this QD and it's the only one I use nowadays. Pricey, yes, but the gloss and wetness is leaves behind is really nice. You have try it out for yourself and determine if for you it is worth the price.

Gloss it's QD is awesome stuff. kinda expensive tho. i switched over from OID/FK425 after trying it out.

might wanna get some Reload if your car is coated with Cquartz.

I had a bad batch or something with my fk425 and it would streak and just look weird. OID is working really well so far with my cars. I guess I need to try out reload and V7, who wants to send me some samples??

So you like it alot better than OID and FK425. I have never used FK425, yet I have heard mixed things about it which has made me not try it out. I am guessing I might give Gloss it Gloss Enhancer a try. I will also be getting Reload but will use that like every two months or so to maintain Cquartz.

Thanks for all the replies guys I appreciate it.:)

Shipping from Gloss-it is over the top imo. They wanted $17.99 for a sample kit to be shipped to NJ.

Needless to say, I just closed the site and will eventually find it someplace else to try.

That shipping charge is probably what their carrier is charging them. Most companies now are subsidizing or giving away free shipping so Gloss-its price seems high.

Hey Danny I really love the Gloss It QD but I managed to buy mine from people selling extras they bought and got a good deal on it. Not sure I would pay the price to get it from Gloss It. Now a QD that I think is really really close to it and practically on par with it is Clearkote Quickshine. That is an awesome QD and just doesn't get the pub that a lot of others do. You know me and I've tried just about everything and it's right up there with Gloss It. I haven't tried Reload yet but I'm getting ready to place an order for some with Phil. I'm anxious to see how it is especially over Opti coat.

Ken I know you carry some Gloss it products will you be carrying Gloss Enhancer?

Hey JL long time no see man:) Thanks for letting me know about Clearkote Quickshine. I have just been trying to find a better quick detailer to keep up the look of Cquartz now that I applied it to the mustang gt.

What are your guys thoughts on Prima Slick compared to Gloss it Gloss Enhancer? I have never tired any products from Prima but have heard good things about their products

The Prima line is great and Slick is no different. Compared to Gloss-It's QD I would say I prefer Prima Slick. It gives you a bit better slickness than Gloss-It's and a better shine too IMO. Plus you can use Slick for many other jobs, it works pretty good as a window cleaner and easily removes surface dust.

Not that it really matters but, I mess'did up the name of my new favorite QD. Its not Spray and Wipe. Its PoorBoys QD+.. Sorry for being a knucklehead.

I picked up some Re-load about a month ago and I think it's awesome as a stand-alone product. Better than rain-x on the glass, and leaves an extremely glossy finish on the paint.
My favourite part is it goes on as easily as a quick detailer. I highly recommend that you give it a shot.

I am going to pick some Reload up, but I am only going to use it every month or two months. I am looking for a QD to use as a drying aid for my weekly washes and to use after I remove light dust from the mustang with my wool duster.
