So, I'm going to admit, I'm a bit of a Ferrari fan. Seeing as I can't afford one, I have a bunch of Ferrari paraphernalia. Posters, sounds tracks, paintings, clothing, and scale model cars. Since I had a bit of time today after cleaning the house a bit, I decided it was time to detail my Ferraris. I decided to begin with my only black one. My 1984 Testarossa. Here are the before shots. This is a quick shot of it cleaned with Sunlight Soap, APC and then wiped down with IPA. Also showing the products used for correction. Then I taped off a small section for a test spot, which also served as a 50/50 splitter: A quick pass of the Megs 105: and the appropriate 50/50: Retaped and went on with the Menz Micro Polish: And ITS 50/50: As seen in the pictures, I used BF Gloss Enhancing polish on the whole car (Roof took 3 layers) and then laid down a layer of BF Wet Diamond. I later also decided to add a layer of Dodo Juice Banana Armour. Tires and trim were dressed with AG Instant Tyre Dressing. Here are the final shots: Hope I didn't waste too much of your time, and thanks for reading!
I think I just pissed myself from laughing! That was a superb showing my friend!:applause2::headbang: Made my day seeing that.Thank you.
^Glad you liked it! I'd also like to point out that the rear bumper is indeed missing. I sent it of to the dealer to be resprayed...a Buggati 110 rear ended it. lol
Q-tips were used for almost everything with the exception of microfibers for the general wash. Just a little but of APC for the wheels though.
If y'all are interested, I can post a picture of all my other cars that are to be detailed today (I also finished off my F50 and 348 TB last night. I'll be doing the Bugatti 110, Dodge Viper, Saleen S7, GT-R34, Dodge Copperhead and F40 today ) I think it's time for the nice weather to come out, I'm getting detailing withdrawal. lol
