Griots VS Porter Cable...

There will be one in my tool box, just a matter of time. Just looking to work my way up step by step...

welp since your down in the states, go order from detailersdomain, the uber pads are Buff and shines

 

The Griot's 6" orange and red are simular to other brands that make orange and red pads. The Griot's are a flat pad and are 6" not 6.5" like some other brands. I would say they are definatley comparable to other brands flat pads. We also carry the Sonus and between the two they are almost identical. You can't compare the different colors as each color represents a grade of cut in the pad.

Found a video that had new Meguiars DA Compound/Finish wax and before I spent $100's of buckaroos for m1/205/Menz Polishes/Pads/rotary, just wondering if any of you guys have used this set up with the mircrofiber pad, which you can constantly clean the pad after every 1-2 passes thus eliminating the purchase of additional pads.

you still wouldnt want to clean pads in the middle of the job =p
but umm the new meguiar's system, there are some guys here who have tested it out
I personally havent so I would simply tell you to go with the traditional foam pads+polish

 

Just considering all possible options. To clean the pad it only takes like 5 secs with a brush. Looks like ill have to do a lil side by side comparison vid with all these products to compare results.

The price I got my Griots for was fantastic and it has performed with a slight edge over the PC 7424x. I still use my PC with 4" pads and apply glazes and lsp.
