I've been thinking of product innovation and creation for the past couple of weeks and I'm trying to gather some ideas together which would cut down time and improve efficiency in the business. I have a good idea for an AIO type polishing pad (which I'll keep in the dark for now) which would mate amazingly with something like Menz 203. Turning two steps into one would be a great time saver, especially as correcting paint is the longest process. I also have a great idea for applying polish to the pad in a more uniform way. What are some other areas that need revamping? I was thinking of.... Window cleaner/sealant AIO Chrome polish/sealant AIO Interior sealant Vinyl scratch remover etc. For now the AIO route seems to be the most obvious for saving time. Fire away.

I hate to say it, and although OCW, Hydro and AJT are excellent in their own ways, I believe there is some room for more stand alone long lasting spray sealants.
Of course, it is strictly my opinion, but Reload v2 is not an easy product to use. It is extremely streaky. I have verified this with another member who is a big fan of v1. I really do think there is room for another stand alone spray sealant. Just my opinion, and what I would purchase.
something kinda like reload, where its almost like a QD with really good durability. you wash your car, and while its still damp, spritz it down and wipe it off. done. i have another idea, but i'll PM it to you.
I liked Zaino spray seal, it was just such a small bottle and not cost effective, so was zaino Z8. Ive been pretty happy with the results of CG v7, just wipe on wipe off, no streaks even if product is still on the panel. I put some on my moms car who drives in the country alot, so alot of dust etc. its held up very nicely and we are going on 6 weeks.............
for all in one pad all i can think of is those dual face pads or something, Edge pads or something? chrome polish AIO? you mean like CG metal wax? cleans pretty good and leaves protective layer, great for exhaust tips window cleaner? something like poliseal but for windows? better yet. polish that doesnt stain rubber trim
I wonder if there's a way to create a polish that has a heavy cut that diminishes quickly and then the finishing abrasives last longer with more lubrication. Even if you had to work it longer it'd be worth the little bit of extra time to skip a full step.
you should consult with me also, i could help you.. what kind of MF you use for wipe off? it should be thin type , not plush, spray and wipe off with short loops MF . car can be water drops wet as well while applying. V1 wasnt so hydrophobic, we wanted more water repellent and more durable.
Avi, thanks for the suggestions, and I have tried to use a short nap mf, and on a wet car. I think that I will give a suede type mf a try. What was surprising to me is that Cquartz seems easier to apply without streaking than Reload. Because these products are a different type of technology, I suspect that it is my application process that needs fine tuning.
You should take a look at Prima Hydro. That's exactly how you use it. For darker paints, it dramatically improves the look with a simple spray and wipe process. You can find Prima products at DetailersDomain.com
Somebody should make a spray on/wipe off clear coat. Why polish it if you can just fill it all in with actual clear coat? Of course there would have to be a few different kinds to go with different types of clear coats, extensive prep work, cure time.... but it would be neat.
