    I know I do.

I can't stand the perpetual whirl of my PC.

It's proven that sustained noise can damage hearing.

Occasionally, I wear clear glasses (non-prescription) incase product slings into my eyes.

    Am I the only one?

The only ear protection I use is my iPod cranked all the way up :D

From time to time I'll wear glasses to prevent product from getting in eyes. Last thing I want is to have to rinse out my eyes... or worse..

Have the large 3m ear protectors (big orange ones) during polishing stage...nothing for eye protection as I wear glasses already and splatter, if any, should not get around them...

Do I LIKE to... hellllll no.... I really hate safety glasses and earplugs, but I do when they are needed.

I wear ear protection, more so as a precautionary measure.

i wear ear pro while polishing. the whine of any rotary will definitely affect your hearing after prolonged operation, trust me. it got to the point where i was noticing a difference in my hearing after a while. the little soft foam ear plugs seem to work just fine.

I wear glasses anyways, but I do wear gloves and ear plugs. I take a 5 min break every hour for fresh air and beverages.

I wear my noise cancelling headphones that I use for business trips when flying, they work great. I wear glasses too so no need for anything else.

I wear ear plug whenever I use the buffer. I didn't previously and now my ears experience a ring sound occassional. I am actually more concern with the dust we breath in especially when we do compounding.

I always wear I protection and gloves as its very easy to get stuff in your eyes while spray and chemicals.

I started wearing the little orange foam ear plugs a few years ago after I realized that my hearing was really starting to suck. They are inexpensive and easy to use. I wear safety glasses when i use my rotary, not so much with the PC.

If you are even using a pressure washer or vacuum, you should wear hearing protection. Prolonged use of ANY of these machines will cause hearing loss.
