I’m sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, and please move it if it’s in the wrong place, but I couldn’t find a wash and wax section. Being as I am new here I thought I’d share a few pictures of my ride. These are a few that I had on my computer taken this past summer. This is my garage queen; she’s been hibernating for the last 3 months. I can’t wait for winter to be over so I can bring her back out to play. Sorry for no before or process shots, as I have maintained her pretty well since she was new. (I’ll post up a detail with before, 50/50, and after shots soon). When I first got her home from the dealer I went at her with m105/cyan ht, m205/tang ht, and menz 85rd/black flat. Since then I have always tried to maintain the paint w/ proper wash techniques, and an occasional light polish with m205, and or Menzerna 85rd. I apologize for the lack of organization of the photos, but like I said I just pulled them off my work computer and was anxious to share them . Here’s a couple of her getting her last bath before winter… (Deionized water sitting a top two layers Souveran) A look under the hood… Some miscellaneous reflection and sun shots… Thanks for looking, Tad
Tad, your car looks excellent. the cr spotless must help quite a bit. have you decided souveran looks best on it?
That paintwork is in great shape, nice job maintaining it! I am looking into some sort of water softening system, care to elaborate on why you chose CR Spotless and what you like/dislike about it?
Honestly Tad, the only thing I didn't like about seeing your car in person was the sun reflecting off the hood scoop right in my eyes while riding around with you! It really made it difficult to check out the town Oh yeah, then there was :tlaw:!
Really? You're going to call him out on the seat covers but let him slide on the dice? :eyebrow: Gorgeous reflections Tad. Impressive camera skills too!
those seat covers are epic...... You can drive naked. TMI, I know. But the feeling would be awesome. JK looks awesom
TADMAN!!! Thats the sweetest looking ride around! Nice work... As far as the seats go I hope you clean them well...
Thank you, and yes the CR is a great tool for dark paints... To be honest with you about the LSP; (as I'm sure you know) prep work is the key to making any paint look great. With that being said Souveran is a nice Boutique wax. It does seem to have a nice wet, darkening affect, and a warm nuba glow. However those same oils that help Souveran achieve these characteristics also make it a dust magnet. In addition to attracting dust like crazy, the durability of Souveran is also very week. I would be hard pressed to select just one favorite LSP, as I am a nuba junkie and enjoy using and having many. Some of my favorites though are Fuzion, several Dodo waxes, and my 2 newest :meditation: Thank you for your kindness. As to the CR Spotless; it is actually more than just a softening system. It produces deionized water. Deionized water is a type of purified water with mineral ions removed. These mineral ions include sodium, calcium, iron, copper, chloride, and bromide. The CR produces Deionized water by removing mineral ions through an exchange process. Using a mixed bed of anion and cation resins; not only salts, but ions, and minerals can be entirely removed from water. This is why I absolutely love my CR spotless. I could not imagine trying to take care of a black car (given the poor water quality that I suffer from) without it. You know what a sheepskin whore I am D  I'm sorry Richard, I'll try to make it not quite so shiny next time we go crusin Oh yeah, and thanks for reminding me about the :mounty:...You have to admit he was more interested in the shiny car then giving any tickets out that day:whistle: Thanks Mike!! Thank you so much for the kind words:thumb: Thank you... As for the seat covers...Have you been spying on me:headbang: How know me all to well Luber buddy  As always, thank you for your generous words Coreo, they truly humble me my friend:worship2:...As to the seat covers; Don't tell Richard but I didn't have time to wash 'em before he got here, and I had just switched the passanger and drivers ones:sorry: Thank your for your very kind words, it's much appreciated!
Looking awesome Tad!! I'm not a huge fan of Mustangs, but there is no way not to love the way this one looks!! Amazing work!
Very nice S197 and welcome! I myself own a 2004 40th anniversary black mustang GT not only that I also used the same correction products on my gt I guess stang owners see eye to eye
