Just recently completed this was the first job in my new shop. Porsche modified by Sharkwerks this car had the go but no "Show".

As any 6 year old black finished car, there were RIDS, holograms and dirt in all the tight crevices. Healthy readings everywhere except the roof line which averaged 110 and below to 97 microns.

Pics as the car was brought over by James @ Sharkwerks.

    Thorough decontamination/wash/clay step.

Any remaining LSP residue stripped away.

    Initial 50/50 on the wing.

After wool & foam pad compounding.

Door handle had a "Little fingernail scratch problem".

After compounding and middle step of polishing.

Hood had some RIDS, mixed in with some clay marring as I had to go with a aggressive bar to shear the fallout off.

Working this area was going to be tricky as I did not have the option this time of removing the badge.

    Correction is coming along.

After meduim polishing step, before fine polish.

    During fine polishing stage.

Engine bay was not bad at all, so thus no reason for before's.

All paint in the engine bay polished with two steps and sealed.

Worked the area under the wing as well, water spots and marring were evident.

Had help from Tony Ito, worked with as our detailer @ Performance Art(old shop I used to run) Tony is very meticulous on interiors especially trunk areas were clients will find clothes folded and anything in there re-organized.

    Scratched door handles "tightned up".

    Finished product.

Dried out cowl area dressed to a matte non-greasy finish.

Recently we have rain & cold in the Bay Area(SF) but when these sun pics were shot it was quite pleasant, almost 70 degress.

Bob is an artist. Actually I borrowed that word from the owner of the car as I brought him from my shop over to Bob's new place to pick his toy up. I don't think he was quite prepared for the transformation... Seriously Bob thanks for putting the ice on the cake. He's got the go and the show;) The amount of detail (yes pun intended) you went to on this one is some of the best yet and I see you do it day in and day out. Just a friendly pat on the back.

    Here's his build:

I swore I'd never do black again but hey...

OK go back to finishing that Italian POS... does it even start? Did it stall? Ech... horrible horrible Italian cars.

Don't hate...................................Porscheboy/officeboy aka "Junyor" Ken is keeping his Turbo S and Panamera T, as for another black Turbo it figures the white 996 3.9 GT3 is gone and you would pick up a black "Gently used" 997 Turbo. Remember Alex all my invoices are "Write off's".
