Does ONR normally sud up like that? I used my ONR the first time last night and my solution didn't sud up at all. Also, the color wasn't like that either. It was almost clear. Is there something wrong with my ONR?

    Thanks!

I LOVE my ONR! Wash, clay lubricant, QD... You name it, it does it.

There's a chance that I didn't completely rinse the bucket out like I should have after cleaning it with APC, or that it was because it was hot water. You'll be alright either way. This is the new formula so that might have something to do with it. As long as it works, don't worry about the colors etc.

Very nice! Have to make some time to post a wash of my own from a couple of weeks ago, the car was filthy!

When I first used ONR to wash my car, I can feel and hear the grits/dirt running through the paint and I cringe every time I run the wash media on the panel. I'm just wondering that maybe something's wrong with my ONR bottle or I'm not mixing it up correctly.

Is this your first time using ONR?

you method looks very similar to mine , using the same exact mini pressure sprayer to pre treat the finish. I do use a grit guard and a natural sponge though. nothing like having snow on the ground and washing your ride, that is dedication. my neighbors have gotten use to watching me outside in some cold temps with ONR LOL !

  8. If you go straight to the panel from the bucket, you can feel some drag with certain types of wash media. That is why many use the presoak method. Also, experiment with different wash media to see what you like (feel comfortable with). I use thick pile microfibers or the OptiMitt. One other word of advice is watch your pressure no matter if you are doing a traditional or a rinseless wash. Glide your wash media over the panel and flip sides to make another pass. The only time you would see marring is if you used too much pressure like you were scrubbing or trying to get it all with one pass.

Maybe someday haha. I still use it as a daily driver so I can't be getting <10 mpg.

Thanks for the advice. I'm currently using the grout sponge from Lowe's. I'm going to try using a microfiber covered sponge and see how it works out.

Yeah I'd use something with a really deep pile. Thick microfiber, dreadlock style wash mitt, etc.

Nice work, Kyle. You use the exact same process I do.

    LED's look awesome too :thumb:

Thanks. How's things on the homefront going? I thought the kids might have killed you. The led's are super bright at night, loveeee them.

Looks great, I'm already over all this cold weather though...I want the warm again!

  15. Yeah I tried the grout sponge after hearing someone recommend it on the forums. I never could get over the sqeaking noise and hated the way it felt so now it is inside a MF mitt to hold extra wash juice.

This is also what I experienced. It squeaked and felt very rough on the paint. I don't think I'm comfortable cleaning the paint using ONR with a grout sponge. I'll try what you and Reflect are using; a very thick MF towel or a MF covered sponge.

Thanks for the info guys! :mounty:

Been a bit of a zombie lately. The youngest still won't sleep through the night. 6 months of not being able to sleep for more than 3-4 hours at a time drains you pretty good. :(

I think I am going to swap different LED's into my interior to get closer to that white.

Damn, I'm mad when I don't get 7 hours of sleep. Let me know if you need some help deciphering that led site, it can be tricky.

Reflect, what is your solution of prepanel soaking? Curious, this would help me with ONR in the winter.
