hi guys here are pictures of a work i did on my mate's w124
this car had just been through a "premium" detailing job at on of the big car salon franchises the week before

    paint correction was done using
Scholl S17 on 3M wool pad
    then followed up with
    Scholl S17 on megs 8006
    then finished with
Scholl S40 on Lake County black (CCS)

all the cleaning was done using dilluted Simple Green APC and an assortment of run of the mill brushes
claying was with Megs detailer's clay using OCW as lube

LSP was 2 coats of 845 applied back to back (to ensure even coverage) and a layer of OCW applied the next morning

sorry i didnt take the interior pics due to time constraints

    total time taken 14 hours

    bstp,

very nice and big improvement over the other detail shop. Your friend must be pleased. How would you describe the results of using OCW over Colli 845?

hi there Bri thanks for the compliments Mate

anyway i started using ocw because of the fact that my car is spruce green, i normally like the look of sealants but on my car, the hard candy look from the collinite alone made the color look just a tad too "pale" for me, so i tried ocw, as per Gianni's advice. The ocw over 845 made the color looked like ure using a warmer filter over your camera's lens, and it also add a bit more "wetness" ton top of the deep gloss i get from 2 coats of 845, hope u get my poor description mate. On my car i top 2 coats of 845 with like 5 coats of ocw, and i like how it looks and how cost effective it is, not to mention how fast it is to apply.

    regards,
    Bob

o one more thing, there's also a lil downside of topping 835 with ocw. ocw seem to alter the 845 signature beading characteristics, the beads seem to get a tad bigger than they were before

Nicely Done BSTP, makes me wanna try that OCW even more, are you using the same methods applied to this W124 for finishes detailing? Man, wanna start re polished my USS Ent all over again with that DK method finishing 845 top with OCW... Anyway, I like your B2B shoot of Blue Black and Malachite green reflection effect. Combination of 2 artwork of yours in 1 shoot. Thumbs up Bro!!!

@Domino : its always nice to meet a kindred spirit , Mate! i had an uncle who used to have a 500E back when this country was ruled by a dictator, haha, seriously though, that car was unbelievably fast, I dont know wheter its because of my age at the time , but i think i'd still sell a limb to be able to have one :)

@IYO: Thanks for the gratuitous compliment, but I'm still just a novice mate, still learning everyday. btw, i think its about time that u post up your work here too
