Products used Wash Grout sponge Dawn dish soap IPA Correction PC 7424XP Uber pads (Yellow, green, blue, black) Optimum Polish II Meguiars M205 Optimum Finishing polish Protection CG EZ Creme glaze BFWD All color paint sealant I started out Saturday afternoon by washing the car with dawn dish soap. Then I dried the vehicle using 3 drying towels. After that I did my first IPA wipedown diluted 80/20 with distilled water.Before the 2nd IPA I masked off all the areas I didn't want to get polish on and the wiped it down. I then did my first stage polish with the Optimum Compound using an Uber yellow pad, I got about half of the car and by that time it was getting pretty dark so I called it a day. The next day I came back and decided to start over so I did the half that was already done again. I did 6 passes to each section I did. Then I started on stage 2 of the polish with Meguiars M205 paired with an Uber green pad also doing 6 section passes. I noticed the M205 splatterd alot more than the compound. Then I started on stage 3 with the Optimum Final Polish paired with an Uber blue pad. Here I did about 12 passes to each section. After I did all the polishing I grabbed my Uber black pad and threw some CG EZ Creme on it and laid that on. I love the way it smells, kind of has a grape smell to it. The glaze went on and buffed off super easy. Then it was time for the BFWD but I had ran out of pads so I used a yellow foam applicator and applied it. S all in all I'm very excited with the results because my car has never looked this good or felt so smooth. I will be applying the wax sometime this week, doing 2 layers. I have Dodo Juice Rainforest Rub, and Hard Candy. That should really make it pop some more. Anyways here are the after pictures because I forgot to take befores.
what if anything did you do to the stripes? were they paint or vinyl? I have a friend who as a 2011 who said he used Turtle Wax Ice on his LOLOL........ I said I would research and find the correct way to care for vinyl. Looks awesome
yeah but these are day after shots and I have potholes in my driveway full of mud lol. I still have to wax it and dress the wheel wells
yeah, im not sure if there is much you can do..... ive looked around and some people say use a VRT or something, but im afraid it may dry it out and start cracking.
