I have been reading through the current spray wax thread, and that was making me think about a good wax booster for winter i try t was my families and my car once every 1.5-2 weeks are there any major differences between the two , the opt is about 10 bucks expensive but if its worth I wouldnt mind. I was looking to buying gallon sizes of either. another question; megs advertises the hydrophobic thing, is that what the newer version of ocw was formulated with as well. thanks; can't wait for the new year already getting impatient and tired:waiting:

I can't speak to the formulations, I find UQW to be a good booster, beads nice after application, good shine. IMO, OCW can be used as a standalone wax as it's much longer lasting than UQW. I've found both equally easy to use and have experienced no streaking or other issues with either product.

Personally, I'd want some firsthand experience before buying gallons. You're going to want a spray bottle to refill from a gallon anyway.

Like TL said OCW is a standalone while UQW is a booster. Personally I would forget about the UQW and go with Duragloss Aquawax. It can be had by the gallon for about $35 or 22oz for about $9.

I have been using Prima Hydro as a stand alone and QD. JMO its like OCW on steriods.
    And I love OCW.

I would go with Duragloss Aquawax. I use Chemical Guy Pro Detailer as it like a QD and a Spraywax but I use it more like a QD because of the look it gives me. Since your looking for a spray wax I would go with either OCW or Duragloss Aquawax buy the gallon, either one is worth it.

Optimum as stated is a stand alone product whereas DG Aquawax is a booster. Of all the spray waxes/Qds I've tried, Sonax seems to be the easiest to use and can be used as a stand alone product. Durability is unknown.

First its nice to see u here and as always toll every one in Brazil
This is a great forum to start learning how to detail properly we have in here
Great detailers especially for u that are starting to detail for living

    What do u didn't understand?
Wax over selat? U can not apply it since selant will remove part of the wax

As I stated OCW its and stand alone product and DGAW is a booster and I apply it as
    A dry agent as well
