My parents have had a black baby grand piano since they got married. Needless to say, it's covered in swirl marks.

Is polishing with a PC an option?

Has anyone ever done something like this?

My mom mentioned they have piano polishes specially made for this type of thing, so I assume it would come down to products, the clear coat depth, tools used, etc.

I would assume that silicone and oils in polishes would contaminate the wood, so I'd be careful...

    SV Wood Wax :) haha..

I would probably contact manuf or retailer as it may be varnished so some polishes may or may not be good for them. Dont know much but maybe a good dealer or manuf can provide some guidance.

True. I'll have to contact a specialist or mfg.
