Well I was refereed to Matt by Marco "Rustybumper" because he needed some correction work done to his new 2011 Mustang 5.0. What had happened was the dealership tried to remove a scratch on the spoiler but instead instilled some more deep ones of there own. There was also a small area on the tip of hood that needed some correction. It was not a big job but it was fun. I had an issue doing it on Tuesday outside using the sun light and we both though it was completely corrected but to my surprise it wasn't and was very embarrassed when he let me know yesterday. Yet, Matt gave me a second chance. Well lesson learned, I will always stick to doing correction work inside with my 1000 watt halogens to ensure correction is done correctly. This was the first time that had ever had happened to me so I am will make sure it never happens again. Products and tools used: Poorboys Waterless Wash. But they were removed which is what matters. I will try and add some more higher quality pics Matt took not of the correction but the 5.0 itself.
Looks great! I was stunned when I read in Road and Track (I think) that this car performed equally as well as a new M3 around a track.
Danny does great work. I will definitely go back for more work in the future. Now my Mustang doesn't have anything that bothers me. For the first time in forever, I don't miss my Corvette anymore.
They are a great I also read the article but on Motortrend it was awesome. Thanks Matt I am glad I was able to get it corrected for you.:thumb: I really like the second picture you took that I posted above anyway I can get a larger version of it for my Macbook
Love the California Special package, the grille especially. Gorgeous car, and great work on those scratches
I really like it, did you ever see the 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee I posted on MM I used it as a one step and it corrects quickly and doesn't dust at all. Its a great medium/light polish Mothers calls it Professional Machine Glaze 82332 but its a polish and not a glaze as it contains no fillers whatsoever (verified with Mothers and by doing IPA wipe downs after). Also its a step above their Professional Foam Pad Polish 83432. Its a good one step polish that will leave an LSP ready finish if used with a green/white/blue/or black pad.
The new 2011 Mustang GT 5.0 California Special sells for around $37,000 USD or 38,500 if you get the glass roof, this is before taxes so its around $40,000 USD
thanks. I understand. Incredibly expensive cars in Turkey. You are very cheap there.. turkey is $ 40,000 car, tax dollars at around 85,000
Mine was $37975 without glass roof. I got the comfort group, Shaker 1000 stereo and 3.73 rear axle as options.
