Nothing really special here, I'm just bored, on Christmas break and putting off scholarship application essays so I decided to post this up. One of the first details that I ever did, I've learned a ton since then! This car belonged to a girl my age (17) who lives up the street, I have done 3 cars that belong to her family and she is always willing to promote my business :thumb: Anyway, she was tired of having a "grandpa car" so her family decided to sell it and bought her a little Chevy Cobalt (which I imagine I will be detailing sometime soon). Anyway, they just wanted me to clean the Buick up before they sold it. Just a wash/vac/interior wipedown, nothing groundbreaking here. Regardless, they were thrilled with my work :) Man, when I got the call to do this car I was thrilled since I knew it wouldn't be too bad, my first week of detailing was full of some of the dirtiest cars I did all summer. Talk about a crash course in detailing the worst :yikes:

    Products/process:

    Exterior:

Washed with Megs Gold class car wash soap, I forget what wash mitt
Megs APC 4:1 on bugs, tar, etc.
    MS SGS on tires
Wheels cleaned with soap, just plastic wheel covers
Tires dressed with Megs Hot Shine spray

    Interior:

    Vacuumed
Wipedown with Megs APC 10:1 and 4:1
Glass cleaned with Stoner Invisible Glass

    Now for pictures...

    Before (sorry no exterior pics)

Vacuuming out the trunk was interesting...it was so large I had to actually get in it to reach all the way back.

    Nice work!

I miss MS SGS, I need to take a drive to Raleigh sometime to pick up some MS items.

Good eye, I think I cleaned them right after I took the picture.
