Got an e-mail from MINIUSA website the other day, check it out here: Http://www.miniusa.com/ Some key points: -The first MINI Cooper with available AWD (Cooper Countryman S ALL4). -It's the Suburban of MINIs (4 doors, big trunk, etc.). -Crazy sliding center console, or optional dual sliding center console. I saw one on the road as well with temporary plates, I was surprised at how big it is! It is a high vehicle for a MINI so it looks very huge on the road. What do you guys think? I love it, except I don't like the 2 individual back seats. That completely ruins it for my dog, she loves a full rear bench. Photos from MINIUSA website:
the center dash has always killed it for me with the mini coops. other than that its a nice little car
i still prefer my speedo to be in front of me but i was actually trying to see if they had any in showrooms when i was shopping but sadly not here yets in canada land
Looks sick. I'm digging the turquoise color interior. However I am not digging the split rear seat. Bench seat allows 3 people to sit vs the 2 for the split seat. It's just so much more comfortable with a bench anyways.
Digital speedo is also built into the tach so you don't have to look at center speedo to check your speed.
the same thing is in the CHEAPEST Toyota, Yaris, if I remember correctly, which is about the size of my washing machine...
yeah yaris has a center speedo console and nothing in front of the driver. Anyhow i like to keep my speed a lil secret cuz I get whining all the time when im within the speed limit (or not)
Maybe, but I'm not gonna like it. I've had enough of this SUV crap yet my gf thinks a SUV is fine, but a wagon is not.... What kind of logic is that? What can a Highlander or CR-V do that a Subie Legacy Wagon can't do? At least the Mini SUV isn't ridiculous big or slow. (Mitsu RVR... groan.... its SO sloooooowwwwww)
Looks cool, but it's really the interior that kills me on the Mini, as my parents and I were looking at one for my first car. On the standard Mini the backseat is really too small to put people in, and I didn't like center speedo at all. I don't like that backseat on the Countryman, having a bench is so much more practical. I can't think of how many times I've needed room for that one extra person...glad we chose the GTI instead. There's other reasons too, I didn't just base my purchase off a backseat and speedometer
