Hey, everyone! My name is Josh and I am new to the site. I have just gotten into detailing lately, and man have I got the bug! Someone should have warned me about how much money would be spent on product! Anyway, just thought I would share my 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX. It has been my ongoing project since 2004 and has featured once. Hopefully not the last!
Thanks! Autptics did them for me. I used bi-xenon FX35 projectors with clear lenses, E55 shrouds and Greddy HID kit with slim ballasts.
^Yes sir...in 18X10 +38. 5mm spacer makes them +33. They are also a one-off custom black chrome color.
That last picture was awesome!! Very nice car and I love the way you can barely see the winding road behind you. Where was that road?
Thanks for all the positive comments everyone! It is Glendora Ridge Road in the Angeles forest here in SoCal. Awesome road... In other news, due to everything I have learned on here and other forums, I have just completed my first full detail on my WRX. She looks great! Here's what I did... 1) Wash (CG Citrus Wash & Gloss at stripping dilution) 2) Clay with Meg's fine clay with Dodo Juice Born Slippy lube (10:1 dilution) 3) Trunk/roof/parts of hood got Ultimate Compound on CCS orange to M205 on CCS white with GG6 DA. Side panels/bumpers/etc got M205 on CCS white with GG6 DA. 4) Rewash (CG Citrus Wash & Gloss at maintenance dilution) 5) CG EZ Creme glaze on CCS blue with GG6 6) Blackfire Wet Diamond on CCS red with GG6 7) Tires dressed with Black Magic "no sling" matte tire finish 8) Door jambs/wheels/fuel cap area sealed with CG M-seal 9) Interior/some exterior trim dressed with 303 Aerospace Protectant 10) CG Stripper scent fragrance I think that's it. I will apply another coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond after the next wash and possibly top that with CG Butter Wet Wax for any upcoming shows/meets!
^Yup! Every car needs a little contrast, especially if you show it, etc. I like it! The scent doesn't last very long, but it is a conversation starter.
welcome, im new here too, Ive seen you around the subaru forums...... nice to see another subaru enthusist here!
