Went to Calgary/Edmonton in the summer, the Coq was full of trucks. Every two lane road is a race to see how many trucks you can pass lol!! Its a good thing a lot of the truckers are really courteous short one guy who was hell bent on passing everyone, but his truck just couldn't make it and held up traffic.

After the dust has settled, its the same company. There are so many parts shared between the cars!

that's a tough choice. I'm not a huge fan of some Audi's as they are just over priced vw's. I give Ken credit on his passat. My aunt has one exactly the same thing accept it's silver and that thing has been the biggest money pit ever. I swear that she got a lemon because everything that could break broke and the car just hit 110,000 miles recently.

I have always been a fan of Turbo vehicles hands down. The turbo Audi's never seem to have enough power for me.

    211 hp
    258 trq

that isn't bad but the STi's are AWD packing a nice punch:

    305 hp
    290 trq

can't go wrong with that as well as their 6 speed gear box. It's a very punchy car, delivers power smoothly through all gears and shifts like a dream.

So it really depends on what you personally want out of the car. Be it sporty or luxury . . . . performance. Heck if you want the best of both worlds go lease a:

    BMW 335d
Handles like a dream, killer warranty and has some serious power yet gets some good gas mileage seeing that it's diesel.

    rolling in at:

    265 hp
    425 trq @ a whopping 1750 rpms

not to mention it has more power then both cars and gets better mileage then both cars.

    23 city
    36 highway

pretty damn good if you ask me. figure i toss that out there though.

    For me, STI no question.

Sure the Audi is way more luxurious, but are you willing to take the hit in performance?

I've never driven the Evo, so I can't comment too much on the Evo X.

How about a 2011 WRX though? It's got a 5 speed transmission, and I believe it only comes in manual. It also has a bigger turbo now and churns out ~270 hp iirc. It also looks bad ass. This is a steal considering it costs $25000. The STI is still great, and it's a hatchback. I don't see how the others can compete in practicality. Well, the Audi will be a lot quieter. The question really is do you care?

I like the 11 Sti, looks meaner... n if i didn't get a great deal on the Audi, the sti would be my next choice.

Or you could get a beautiful brilliant black A5 with the 19" Y spoke wheels, cinnamon brown leather, 6 speed manual, Mesiterschaft exhaust and sprint booster.... just take over my remaining months on the lease and its yours!

LOL, Dave im not that baller like you, I know leasing A5 is expensive. The 3.2 L is no fun vs 2.0 T in my opinion. but I wonder what other car you have in mind hehehe

The WRX doesn't exactly look like a slouch now, and you get a lot of the oomph. It's very easy to gain more power with turbos too. I'm just saying at about 8k cheaper, this should be an option!
