I shot a short video to demonstrate how little water is left after sheeting with Cquartz. I will READILY ADMIT I am usually too damned lazy to unravel the hose to do this and most of the time just rinse with the powerwasher. I proved to myself today that using the sheeting method is worth it and made me not be so lazy. All I had to do was blot the surface afterward. The ww was barely wet. I had been using a leaf blower before but I believe this method is even better for CQ. YouTube - Cquartz sheeting action
Nice video Richy, hey do you happen to know the price for Cquartz now that its not on sale. I am still interested in getting the 30ml kit with the cotton pads and the suede microfiber towels towards the beginning of next year. I just wanted to know what the regular price is going to be before hand, if you dont know its cool I'll just email Mike before I place my order.
Thanks Danny. I don't know what the pricing is now to be honest. I have 4 kits at home now so I'm set for a bit. Email or call Mike. You could post it here, I'm curious to see what the regular price will be too. Thanks. Sergei, that's true man. My FX drips from the mirrors something terrible as well as the rear marker lights. Every car has its spots. I almost did it yesterday too but I was running out of time like usual. Excellent point though. Also great to use it on wheels and tires.
its waste of money to use on tires, tires are too ruff surface, better to use normal tire dressing for that. much cheaper as well.
Where did that quote come from? I know you don't use CQ on tires. Let me know if I mis-typed something in a post so I may go back and correct it. I don't want the wrong info getting out there. Are you sure that wasn't a post about Zep Citrus or something?
Exactly. Yesterday I was washing my wife's car and was running low on time (had an appointment) so, I skipped leaf blower...Guess what? There was water dripping from front grill, and tail lights...
