my GLK being my daily commuter these days with a panoramic roof adds quite a bit of annoyance as the top is now all glass instead of plain metal.
So many rocks flying and today I got a dent on one of the glass piece and just to find 3 heavy scratch marks aswell.
If it was metal, i'd just dab touch up paint then polish it up, but glass :S
so how repairable are these glass roofs anyways, I can't see them without climbing into the middle and out the roof but knowing its there breaks my heart.

I have the same roof on my X5, but I hardly ever drive it. And as far as flying rocks, are you driving too close to trucks? That's where most of stones flying out from...

About 2 car lengths from a Toyota SUV that had a lot of tire exposed and no mud flap. Its prob the Sedona or something, the one based on body on frame. This is like a 90~km/h zone and I thought I was far enough already, sigh, at least it didnt hit my windshield, that would of probably been more of a headache. I may go and buy those polymer fillings and dab it in the dent, the scratches... maybe ill fill then polish, will have to see.

Good luck... wait till you drive through whatever La Nina throws at us this year. My old Camry had a dent on the fender from a chunk of ice that fell off a 2 ton box truck.... Sucks SO bad and sticks out like a sore thumb everytime I detailed it.
