Well im off on holiday soon to vegas in 2 weeks and just wondering if there is any detailing companies or anywhere i can purchase products.....even though im on holiday, i know for a fact ill not be able to switch off lol....... Oh and any other tips on Vegas will be much appreciated
here you go, I got this off another forum: South to North.. Mandalay Bay, aquarium Excalibur, joust match (hazaa, eff that personally...) Luxor, ride the elevator Hawaiian marketplace (strip just south of Harmon, east side of LVB) City Center, brand new, shopping new casinos, etc. MGM, lions eating tourists, staff, etc. (Now you are at Tropicana Blvd and the fun really starts...) Palms (off strip) Playboy Club. Like you need an explanation... Hard Rock (off strip other direction from Palms) - cool collection of Rock stuff. Lots of good looking girls. NYNY, roller coaster Planet Hollywood - No redeeming qualities...Nothing to see, move along. OK, a shit ton of stores you already have at your local mall at home. Like I said. Paris - Eifel Tower. Yay. Nice view of Bellagio fountains. Bellagio - Fountains. Go into the lobby (check in area) and look up. Also, keep walking in (straight) and go into the season theme area. Pretty cool. Some good food. The bar/casino has a lot of female women who do stuff for money around 2AM. I am just saying... Caesars - Food, shops, statues. Go here. Imperial Palace - DO NOT go here. unless you are on the other team. Then definitely go here. Mirage - Good place. Watch the volcano erupt. Yay. Good casino, decent food, crappy lobby bar. The really good looking black girl at the bar... She's not a girl. Check out the fish tank at the checkin counter and the hidden gardens in the back of the property (not to be confused with Olympic Gardens, getting there...) Venetian/Palazzo - (my favorite) - Great food, good gambling, gondola ride, shopping, people. Eat at Carne Vino in Palazzo (a little hidden). Best steak I have EVER had. Get the ribeye for two. Ask Kirk for a wine recommendation. Sit near the bull if you can. Treasure Island - under no circumstances should you gamble here. Watch the effing pirate show (hourly). Wynn/Encore - go here and look around. Great food, good gambling. If you like French food, Try Daniel Baloud ( I am messing up the spelling). Stratosphere - Ride the roller coaster. Don't get mugged. Old Downtown - Really fun, especially if you want to play all day and not dump a load of dough. Some of the themed dealers at Binions, etc. can't count, so I recommend blackjack. I think they think the game is played to 23. Woot. Check out the light show on the ceiling every (half?) hour. Strip clubs: Spearmint Rhino - top notch Olympic Gardens - Excellent Saphires - Haven't been since it opened. Giant. The place, not the girls. Well maybe, if you are into that...
lol thats an extensive all in one run down of the place Well im staying in ceasers, which is quite exciting... I did think of Gloss it, so maybe ill stop by there and see what its all about...
i was just there for halloween vacation! got back on the 1st... I did manage to find the Gloss-it store though it's under Rich's main business name Granite Auto Grooming. If you decide to go, it's on Spring Mountain Road as mentioned, it's gonna be right behind a walgreen's in this small type of mall area. It's gonna look like a very small service station with a service bay, but it's gonna be stacked with the GI products. As for vegas itself, I'm not much of a gambler so I went there for the food and shopping! I stayed at the Signatures at MGM grand. The new Aria/Vdara/Cosmopolitan resorts are nice to check out but a hell of a walk up their entrance! On the left is a great Chihuly glass and art exhibit by the designer that did Bellagio's and Wynn's glass sculptures found throughout their resorts. Venetian/Palazzo is also pretty awesome to check out. In City Center, for a reasonable price check out Todd English's PUB. They got a beer challenge: ANY beer they have in house, if you can tank a pint of it in 7 seconds then it's free! Also i would recommend their carvery menu and Lobster Rolls! Right by the monte carlo is Smith and Wollensky's steak house! Great steak and seafood there. Nobhill @MGM and Michael Mina's @ Bellagio are two fine dining restaurants both owned by Michael Mina that I frequent when I go to vegas. The must have there is his Lobster Pot Pie which he is critically known for. La Creperie in Paris hotel has great sweet and savory styled parisian crepes. Besides the food, can't forget the outlet malls in caesar's "forum shops", Town Center which is like 5-10mins off the strip. Bass Pro Shops in Silverton about a 20min drive out of the strip. My favorite store to see since we have nothing like that down here in Hawai'i. Though in downtown I will have to say that this would be the closest for you to being in Hawai'i without paying the plane fare out here. We call vegas the ninth island because a HUGE majority of people from Hawai'i love to go to vegas and 90% of them usually stay in downtown at the California, Golden Nugget, or Fremont Street hotels. Anyways, other then that I would just recommend to get lost on the strip and explore what the different resorts have to offer for you. I usually take a day and just head out of vegas and explore the rest of Nevada like going to Valley of Fire state park or Hoover Dam etc...But back on topic, Gloss-it would be a good choice to stop by. DO NOT however go to see "The Detail Shoppe" i think it was located in some industrial section. I checked it out last year when I went and was utterly disappointed. Disappointed in everything from product line choices, quality of products, and especially how they stored them. Hope this helps, and have fun on your trip!
you are welcome :thumb: Follow that list and you'll have lots of fun, I know I did when I went to vegas :headbang:
