Little bit of wetsanding I have done...first time.

    Decided to get rid of some crap on my car, so here is my little bit of a journal...

    Here are the pictures, sorry iPhone 3GS quality only.

    Trunk:

    After using certain compounds and polishes on my little buffer I get this:

    That's a library of what I have been up to lately. Just want your opinions on the above, and real life is WAY better than these horrible pictures.

    And that is gold flake in my paint, not any defect...

    IMO none of that seemed like things that needed wetsanding... but thats me.

    Agreed, that was completely OTT in my opinion mate. The last pic looks like there's still alot of randoms/sanding scratches still present in the paint too...

    ouch!

    wet sanding should you be your last resort

    a paint cleaner, hell even a citrus degreaser or apc would have removed that badge residue

    I tried all of that stuff, it was in the clear and was not coming out at all no matter what.

    And that last picture was actually in in between shot, I mixed up, finished one is a lot smoother.

    Oh well, car is getting painted ion the future, so right now I have no problem doing this to my car.
