well it sucks to be a detailer that cares about what a properly detailed car looks like. i have been to SEMA enough times to realize not even companies that have booths, cars and thousands of dollars invested in cars give a crap about the paint finish. seems most of these companies have no idea let alone any care to have a properly detailed car shown. here is a picture of a black lexus out on the main show arena. and this was taken from my iphone and didnt really pick up all the holograms up and down the car. believe it or not, this was one of the least hologramed cars
Thats shi**y. Thousands of dollars and hundred man hours in engine performance upgrades, suspension, wheels, tires and it goes off to one of the greatest shows on earth. Single bucket wash Dawn Dish soap Armor All Black and Decker polisher Brick pads
here's another shot. didnt come out as well as i thought but you can see them at the top of the door and fender. trust me those are not reflections LOL
It made me sad to see the cars at the giovanna booth were cleaned with a california duster :shakehead:
yeah, i heard some people saying that it wasnt bad for the finish and they werent really picking up "dirt". i have worked cars shows before, with multiple cars and always used detail spray and MF towels.
Haha the car is right beside a Mothers booth. I'm not a fan of Mothers though, I think it's just a brand thats supposed to be a big name so noobs buy it.
