The Hill Injection with adjustable pressure up to 121psi (8 Bar) steam at up to 192ºC (378ºF) is the most powerful portable steam cleaner on the market, and weighing only 28lbs (13kg) it is one of the smallest and most mobile machines in the Dupray model line up.

The Hill Injections small size makes it extremely portable and easy for anyone to operate with ease. Don't be fooled by it's size, this little steam vapor cleaner packs an deceivingly impressive punch, it features all of the exceptional features you've come to expect from Dupray, including a lifetime warranty on the boiler and a 3 year warranty on parts. This steam machine proves indispensable for all of the Dupray dry steam cleaner applications, including: Grout cleaning, Stain removal from carpets and furniture, Disinfection and many more.

The Hill Injection also includes a remarkable feature, exclusive to Tecnovap® steam machines, Overheated water injection, this marvellous feature allows for the release of boiling water at the touch of the button, this revolutionary action increases disinfection efficiency, speeds up cleaning and rinses your surface all at once. Just another feature Dupray is proud to offer you exclusively.

    Remarkably Safe

The Hill Injection is extremely safe to operate, not being pressurized means it is safe to fill with water at any point, allowing safe operation 24/7, and also resulting in no down time. Vapor Steam Cleaners produce dry steam with under 5% humidity, this greatly reduces the risk of burns, allowing for extremely safe operation.

  6. The Hill Injection is 2,495$ with accessories and shipping included. For Detailing Bliss members we're offering 100$ off and a free accessory carrying case.

  7. This machine can be used for cleaning the exterior of the car due to the fact that it has an increase pressure and temperature it dislodges dirt very quickly. With the push of the button you have an injection of boiling water to help flush away the residues, this is great for wheels and engines. Due to the fact that it's a continuous use machine you have no down time between refills so you're never stuck waiting for it to depressurize or reheat.

It is not the same as an optima steamer, it's much smaller and lighter. It does not produce as much steam but with the injection feature and increase temperature it makes up for it's size.

I just got the machine in yesterday.

All I can say is its smaller than I thought it would be, which is great!

    The tools are A grade!

I have to take a look at the instructions and hopefully get it to good use later this week.

Is a group buy still in the works and would the price break be even greater than the $100.00 off current offer?

I've been told Brent won't be back till sometime this week. That being said in my search on vapor steamers I've come up with a few more questions and please don't take these in a negative fashion. I'm only trying to flesh out the most information I can to make the most intelligent decison I can regarding a multi thousand $ purchase. I want to be upfront as possible so I'll tell you my "other choice" steamer is the Therma-Kleen which is several hundred $ more and 21 psi less ( quoted ) than the Hill Injection which I'm also considering. I'm wondering what makes up the weight difference between the two. ( nearly 30 pounds ) From what I can tell the Therma - Kleen is entirely made up of stainless steel while from the looks of it ( and I don't know this to be totally factual ) the Dupray seems to be only partial stainless. The waranty is better on the Dupray I believe 3 years parts compared to 1 year on the Therma Kleen ( correct me If I'm wrong ) but both companies have a lifetime boiler warranty. The Therma Kleen touts its boiler as weighing 8 pounds and utilizing an Incaloy heating element ( not sure if this is really better or not than what the Dupray uses ) The Therma - Kleen also says it's hard wired compared to circuit boards on competing brands making it more reliable. ( Again not sure if this statement is more boast than fact ). I'm impressed by both units and going by cost alone I'd have to go with the Dupray. But having no feedback to go on from this forum or any others I've looked into that choice is muted as the Therma - Kleen ( also sold as the Vapor Chief ) does have a solid history behind it. Would the added cost of a cart for the Dupray offset the current discount ( $100.00 ) or bring it much more inline with the Therma- Kleen? And the cart being plastic to me seems to be a little less professional looking than the way the Therama - Kleen is presented. For me the choice is still open though I'd like to make my decision soon. For those of you that have first hand knowledge of either of these units and would be willing to discuss them here or offer opinions pro or con or anyone just having thoughts about either of these units please weigh in as there is no substitute for experience.

I used the hill injection last week on a job we had, I'm pretty impressed by this little guy.

I have demoed the Vapor Chief as well.

Both do the job, but the hill seems to be a nicer set up.

    More testing to come.

  14. Good Afternoon Guys,

Sorry for the delay I've been away for the past 2 weeks in Italy at Tecnovap, Continuously working on ways to improve our equipment.

I will be posting this week a thread for a group buy. I have apparently had issues with receiving PM so that thread will help me get a good idea of numbers. (so far Washerwaxer, Ken, Feslope, Tian and gben have expressed interest in such a opportunity).

Once again sorry I haven't been around.

    Brent

  15. Hello Gben,

Thank you for your interest in our products I will try to answer as much as I can without being biased.

The Hill Injection is fully stainless steel now, our photographs have to be updated, this being said means that the black section is now also stainless steel. My unbiased guess for the weight difference would be size, as Phil will let you guys know the machine is quite small and compact thus eliminating a lot of the weight.

Our boiler are Aisi 304 stainless steel moulded and tig welded, the elements are removable so if ever you have a element problem you do not need to replace the whole boiler. In terms of the material I haven't a single idea physically what is better, I do know that the Tecnovap elements are considered to be the most efficient in terms of size to wattage, and the wattage is very important for the production of steam of course.

Our models do use circuit boards as they have more complicated systems as it is a continuous refill machine with overheated water injection, and hand held pressure control. We don't have any issues with circuit board problems on our machines so that doesn't bring up any questions of reliability.

The machine comes with built in wheels on the bottom so a cart is considered by most people to be unnecessary and more trouble than it's worth. For those that do wish to use a cart we have two options:

    Chariot Antares by Dupray

and the second is actually not on our website but can be seen here:

Let me know if you have any other questions or feel free to give me a call at 1.800.881.8482 ext.602.

    Thanks!

    Brent,
Thanks much for your reply. I always want to get as much information as possible before committing to purchase something costing this much. Looking forward to hearing more about a group buy and from Phil on his thoughts as he puts the steamer to work. And Phil if you read this if it's not too much trouble perhaps you could post video of your using it that would be great!
