Hey everyone my name is Ignas
This would be my first ever time showing my work. Maybe some of you guys have seen before, but i do work in a body shop. And this is one of the cars that i had a chance to work on. I came to work after school, and i see this beauty sitting there :) I was informed that it was on a truck being transported to the dealership lot. And during transport the driver parked his trailer near some trees and scratched the roof of this Cayenne.

Well after closer inspection i saw that pretty much every panel on the car had some sort of scratch on it. I was told to correct everything so the driver doesn't get in trouble.

I didnt have much time on it, and i needed to hurry up and wet sand a bit of the roof, so i did not get many pictures. But i was fortunate enough to work on a completely brand new car so i wanted to share. Also now i see how you guys always compliment Porsche CC, it really was a pleasure to work with.

    Process
    Meg's Gold class
    CC Bug & Tar remover
    Dried with compressed air
Roof was polished with Presta UCC
    Menzerma SIP
    LC Light Cut pad
    DD Polish pad
    DD Med polish pad

Wet sanded a bit of the roof with 1500 grit paper, then went over it with 2000. Sorry i do not have pictures. It wasn't easy to polish or wet sand because the scratch was in the middle of the roof.

Wash: It may not look like it but this car is pretty tall.

Here are the imperfections. Corrected with DD Uber pads and SIP.

I used this on the roof.

And here it is corrected. I didnt have a chance to take pictures of everything because the driver wanted to come pick up the car already. And this car was going to the dealership now, so i didnt even bother to fully clean it or put stuff on the wheels cause i knew they were gonna slap their cooking grease on there anyways.

I apologize for the Iphone pictures and for the lack of explanation in everything. I will try to improve the more of these i get to post.

Presta UCC or Malco Tru Grit (same product) are my favourite compounds. Great job on the porche

Cool that your body shop has the Uber pads, or do you have to bring your own materials?
