Misha, 30ml is slightly more than enough to do one car. An average car uses 25ml. That's trim and everything.
Hey Richy, I figured I would bump this since I just ordered 60ml of Cquartz after seeing the beading/sheeting video Avi posted. How are you liking the results so far? I know you haven't had enough time to fully assess things like durability but how is dirt release?
You can make order from auto aesthetica soon. I email autoaesthetica mike and he having some good special on the line just like Richy say. I think it come in 30 ml and 400ml maybe 500ml. I think I may try this too, I buy cleanair santitizer called sopure now and reload spray seal and now excite to use new coating and other stuff when in stock again.
I contacted Avi who is the owner of the company that produces Cquartz. He always gives me a good discount and is very straightforward and willing to answer my questions, 60ml (two cars worth) costs around 75 euros including shipping.
My Cquartz kit is on the way, I am super excited but I hope it ends up working better than my Aquartz did! FYI: Avi at Carpro said that autoaethetica has not ordered a single thing from them in a month or two so I don't think they are stocking it anymore.
Christian, I'm glad to hear you ordered some. I saw your post at DW. I just got mine yesterday. I am going to play with it this weekend on the 2 passenger side doors of my FX. The beta product I tested is great at releasing dirt and sheeting water. My only criticism is how it performs when you blast it with a leaf blower. The Opti coat surface dries instantly and 98% completely. I find (and having done it now several times) that the CQ surface creates many, many tiny beads that do not leave the surface as easily as the OC does. If you dry the surface with a ww then it does not matter. As far as Mike goes, I am confused. He personally sent me an email advising that he was going to have a great introductory sale price. I was going to wait to see what his prices were and possibly order more. In fact, I received an email from him today asking me what I thought of the new version. I am going to forward this thread to him for comment. Please share your observations when you play with yours. I really liked your honesty and candor when you first reviewed Aquartz.
If you go on their site, it says it does protect against the mineral deposits that are in water spots. I think common sense has to prevail and would try not to let any water sit on the paint regardless of the level of protection that is on there. By the looks of it, Cquartz has the strongest barrier of the 3.
You are quick to answer :applause::applause::applause: I deleted my post since I found the answer from the website like you said because I thought the question sounded too noobish:shead::shead:. Thanks for your answer though. PS: Do you know the behind story btwn the 2 companies by any chance? oke:oke:
Mike sent me an email today he is still waiting to get it in, but he said he will have it for sure soon.
I appreciate the kind words Richy, I try to be as objective as I can even if I am very excited about a new detailing product. It was your review that prompted me to go through with it, it is always nice to feel more secure about ordering a new product when you can count on a fellow enthusiast giving a real world review. I will be honest; I am a sucker for beading and I hope this stuff delivers! Maybe Avi was mistaken about Mike, it would be nice to have a domestic supplier for this stuff. I also have to say I am impressed about all the free samples that Avi sends with these kits since I will also be getting Reload and their new Iron-cut soap too. That would be nice for sure, maybe Avi thought of someone else.
Yeah actually he said he is still is waiting to place the order but that he is going to get it soon sorry for the confusion, just re read the email.
No I don't and I don't really care to be honest. The good thing about it is that maybe it forced a new and better product in the form of Cquartz. I used the Aquartz and it was much, much more difficult to use than the CQ.
Anyone know what's up with Mike and company at Auto Aesthetica? :waiting2: I've emailed them twice...once at mike@autoaesthetica.com and the other at sales@autoaesthetica.com concerning CQuartz a few days ago and haven't gotten any response. Are they still around and in business. It's difficult to tell from the website since it's been under maintenance for a while now. Thanks!
He's just taking his time in placing an order. For those who want some right away, I'm organizing a Group Buy for it. I will start a new thread for it with instructions to PM me since it will not be through here but elsewhere. Sorry to sound so cryptic, I just don't want to break the rules.
