i have about 6 small dings from acorns. so i called this dent guy paintless dent repair. is this a goodidea?he told me 150 bucks he can try to get them out. anyone have luck with this kind of process?
Yes I have had great success with paintless dent repair. I have been using the same guy for years and he is incredible. He repaired about 20 dings from a hail storm that damaged my 350Z. I would just check to see if you can get some referrals for his work.
Tom ... I have had great success with PDR in the past. Do some research though 'cause not every PDR guy knows what they are doing. I try to stay away from PDR guys that like drilling holes to access dents. In most cases, drilling can be avoided. I don't think you shouldn't have issues with the hood. Another thing you might want to watch is that they tend to wipe paint with dirty MFs. I usually wash the dent area really good and provide them with one of my MFs. I can be anal sometimes ... LOL
goodpoint i plan on wiping the hooddown with waterless wash and prep it nice for this. no drilling thats for sure... thanks..
