maybe it was, but results are well worth it, considering it only took off about 1 micron since readings didnt change after polishing.
on PC not rotary, we only use rotary sometimes on hard clears (ceramic, audi and MB) this clear is nowhere near as hard as ceramic
Very nice Misha! Thank you for tips on the PFW and PC - always thought PC would bog but I will try maybe on soft paint next time
never used full wool pad and been without it just fine, i guess it would cut down time if you use rotary
Nice job on that infiniti. looks reallly nice with those inside reflection shots. I'd almost venture a guess that the car was a rebuild judging from the those bad holograms and paint readings in the 300s.
well think about this way, rebuilding a car you change panels probably right, since you change panels you would put new coat of paint on it ad it probably gona be close to original, if you repainting car due to say vandalism you putting coat of paint on top of old one so it will add to paint. so i think it was just partialy repainted, since then i have been to very high end body shop in area and showed me all of the flaws that other "suposedly good body shop" did, i know what to look for if car was repainted good or not besides paint readings
