Thanks,and i shot about 20 rounds through a glock 40 cal just seemed odd to me on the grip,but other than that the one i shot was good and it was a rental gun!and how do you feel about the 9mm?im used to 45. so...my uncle swears by the 9mm..lol

 

Does anyone know if there is a difference between .40 and .40 S&W bullets?

By the way, I picked up a new Kahr P380! =)

I only own 1 gun, my little Taurus 24/7 pro .40 keeps me sleeping comfy at night. That and the thousand rounds of Speer gold dot hollow points.

lookin good. i love that springfield. im a glock guy myself, but the day will come when i get myself a nice 1911.

VLTOR stock. Yeah, ive had several glocks and love them Id take one over a XD45 which Ive looked at and shot. Glocks are so fluid with no idiot switches, and now that the US Army is now fielding them obviously they have read the writing on the wall.

 

ill have to look into the VLTOR for my next one. i didnt know the army was fielding glocks. exclusively? or just in small batches? any idea what caliber?

Here is the story in short that I read. When the USA started training the iraqi police they gave them glocks, when the US were kicking doors they often found police playing both sides thus after either killing said individuals or capturing them they confinscated them, then started using them. Mostly SpecOps and direct action teams are using them. They then started ordering mags and holsters from the states. They are techincally not issued thus far but they have been given the OK to use them. better reliablity and knock down then M9 obviously. but some of the forces are now carrying them in Afgahnistan as well, how they get there, I am not sure.

Its been known for years .45 are the way to go, alot of of the SpecWarfare guys still run 1911's.
Ive had a few berrettas in my time, not a fan of it in any caliber.

Good god that is some fire power! Nice pink glock . . . . . pretty neat to have a daughter who takes a liking to guns and can shoot to defend. Maybe one day i'll have a daughter like that.

 

Since this thread was resurrected I thought I'd update w/ a current pic.


I own the following:

Glock 22 (.40 Caliber) (NOT PICTURED)

Winchester Model 94 30-30 Lever Action Rifle.

Glock 34 ( 9mm)

Benelli M4 Tactical (Semi-auto Shotgun.)

I'm looking to build up the Benelli w/ a red dot scope and some other upgrades and then move toward getting some 1911's.

 

Y'all ain't got nothin on me. Check it.

Crossman 1088 or something, CO2 powered pellet/bb pistol. I shaved the lettering off the sides and I'm gonna paint it black.



And then I have an 18" and 48" blow gun, these are lethal! Complete with an assortment of ammunition including sharpened wire darts, solid metal spikes, blunt thingies, plastic darts on which you attach a snap cap warhead, and colorful paintballs.
