too the folks who have both which do you like better? i have the feeling they are for different purposes and i need both but it seems like everybody has a different feeling on them and which is the right product for what situation
Well first off this isn't really a product you want to use all the time, its not cheap. Only really old dry cracked seats I would do the Leatherique RO and then you could follow up with LM Protect. The Leatherique is going to bring back that new supple feeling of leather that we all love. It is a time consuming process, but a little patience reaps big rewards!
The leatherique dou (Rejuvenating Oil and Prestine Clean) is meant for restoring dry, cracked seats. Although i'm sure you could use it every time you want to clean your seats, it just wouldnt make sense because they are expensive products and just arent MEANT for regular maintenance. For regular maintenance, I would use the LM Trio (strong or soft/vital/protect). Depending how how dirty the seats are, you can either get the strong or soft cleaner. I would go with strong, just because you can always dilute it to make it "soft."
Leather Masters will handle nearly everything, in extreme cases you should look into the Gliptone leather conditioner from the UK. Its some great stuff for dry leather.
It is but its really hard to locate it. There is quite an influence of it in my area yet I have never been able to find the distributor.
Leather Masters is great for leather that is in ok shape. For trashed leather, Leatherique is pretty good, but I also really like Griots leather rejuvenator, though be sure to follow the directions for leaving the windows down, you think AA made a mess outgassing.... this stuff will amaze you.
I have both and you really can't go wrong with whichever you choose. If I had to recommend one over the other, I would probably go with Leatherique because RO rejuvenates unlike any other leather product. Also PC is very versatile, as it is an effective cleaner with light conditioners, you can use it to do your maintenance cleanings and you can use it on vinyl and rubber too. For example, I also use it on my door seals.
